I really love this little gardening tool set. It is all I need for my gardening. I do a lot of planting and it's perfect for me. Have a little trowel that has measurements on it for how many inches you need to dig to plant your seedlings or your plants and the other tool is perfect for pulling on some pesky weeds. This little set is perfect for my needs and it's cute too. Perfect for indoor plants too.
I love this set of hand tools, they feel sturdy and like they won't fall apart after several uses. Flimsy tools will practically bend when digging in soil and these feel quite strong. It's winter right now, so I can't get outside and do my usual planting and weeding in my perennial gardens, but I still have lots of houseplants that I repot or add additional potting soil to, so the hand trowel helps with that task. I love that it also has measurements on the trowel, which really comes in handy to know how deep to dig for bulb planting and such. This is a pretty set and I can't wait until spring rolls back around so I can really enjoy putting these tools to work!
I really like these garden tools. The steel is very durable and the handles are Ergonomic and do not make your hands feel tired with no cramps of any kind. I know my wife loves them for her gardening skills and needs. I would highly recommend them for anyone.
This is a nice beginner/basic set to have. I'm not sure why they have “ladies” in the title, since I think these are good basic tools for anyone (and are a neutral colored item). The handles are softer and they have holes on the sides at the bottom in case you want to hang them up. I like that the “shovel” has different measurements on it too, so you can visually see how far you are digging in. The “shovel” is pretty flat, so you won't be able to scoop lots of dirt with it but it is satisfactory for small digging/moving around the dirt. Items are as described!
These come in sooo handy in my garden, perfect tools. Great for planting and weeding, I love how the spade has a measuring inches on it, makes my planting so easy. These are very well made, sturdy and an easy grip. Love the sage color too, very pretty. They really have a nice heft to them makes it easier to dig and root around my garden and flower beds. I always have them close by when I'm working outside because they always come in handy.
The Better Homes & Garden Ladies Garden 2 Piece Tool Set is really nice. It is the perfect addition to my gardening shed. The spade has inches lines and numbers engraved on it so you know exactly how deeply you are planting. The claw works well. It gets the soil turned over and aerated to have a better start. Both tools have a hole in the end of the handle so you can add a string or just hang them. I definitely recommend these.
I really like these Better Home & Garden tools. Both are wooden handles but they look plastic. Very good quality feel to them. I The hand tiller prongs are pretty sharp. The trowel has inch measurements on it. These will be pretty great to use to plant my flowers in the spring. Already dug some as practice in winter weather and they do pretty well.
Handy little set. Nice wood handles. The only issue I see is, the spade on the shovel seems really skinny, width-wise and the metal seems thin. I don't think it's for tough jobs but would be fantastic for potted plants. Love the sage green color. Better Homes & Gardens is one of my favorite brands. The rake took is very heavy duty and nice and pointy to get down into the dirt. I'd buy it again.
This Better Homes & Garden Ladies Garden 2 Piece Tool Set works very well. This set works great for my small gardening needs. The steel on the tools is a little weak, but if your soil is fairly Lummis then you will not have any problems using these tools. The little three-prong rake works great for pulling up small roots and finding rocks. The spade tool has a measuring rule stamped on the blade which makes it useful when you are planting your bulbs or small plants. I was surprised to see this two-piece tool set shipped loosely in the box. They were not secured in a box or zip tied to a holder. The two tools were just wrapped with bubble wrap to protect them. I have not noticed the tools scratch up very easily while digging, that could be different if the soil you are digging in is rocky. The handles feel kind of cheap and there is very little grip to them. I would like to see the handles redesigned with a larger handle and some type of rubber strips. The tools become very slippery to hold on to when my hands get wet. Other than that. These tools are good enough to get the job done.
This is nice tool set. It's very attractive and comfortable to use. If you are like me and leave your garden tool in the garden, you might want to note that the handles on these are wood so you are not going to want to leave them out in the rain. Our ground is still mostly frozen, so i haven't had a chance to really use them well but they do feel very sturdy and durable.
