The base was cracked when delivered, very fragile. It may be best to pick up in store.

This light has the look of high end light fixtures at the housewares shoppes. It's very pretty and I'm excited to get it installed. The instructions are very straightforward and as soon as our kitchen remodel is finished I'll be adding this light above the island!

Since the shade is made of clear glass, this fixture gives an impression of lightness that is perfect for our small living room. The minimalistic design works well with either modern or classic decor. Installation was pretty standard and no hassle, and the fixture includes a free light bulb. It produces a good amount of light but isn't at all harsh.

This is a really nice, delicate looking light fixture. We used this in the hallway tonreplace one of the outdated "nipp le" light fixtures. This was so easy to install ourselves, with no previous experience. Please... make sure the breaker box is off before you install

I Love the look of these fixtures. It is very difficult to screw the shade onto the fixture and this caused me to break two shades..thus having to purchase two more fixtures. It's difficult to get the shade onto evenly as well. I wish they sold just the shades so that I could stick up on those.

2 out of the 3 fixtures I purchased were broken when I opened the box
