Better Homes & Gardens Large Porcelain Pasta Serve Bowl

My family eats family style so this is a great bowl to serve large portions. I've used it to put anything and everything from fruits to pasta to even chicken. It's nice and white which matches the rest of my dishes. Seems sturdy and washes well in the dishwasher!

I honestly have never had a serving bowl of this size in my serving collection. I could not wait to use this for the first time, and was absolutely impressed at how nice the bowl was. It is so simple and absolutely functional. It goes along perfect with my other pieces and I can display it nicely in my display cabinets. The first day we had it, I served popcorn to my children for family movie night. They were so excited that all of the popcorn could fit in one bowl! Since then, I have used it to serve alfredo, stir fry, appetizers, and bread. It is definitely a great piece to have added to my serving dish collection.

This bowl is simply beautiful. It is very versatile too. I use it as a serving bowl or a fruit bowl. The classic and simple design is very elegant. The size is perfect too. I was afraid it would be ginormous but it's a terrific size for pasta and salads for a family of 4. Beautiful bowl. I highly recommend it.

The bowl looks amazing, stack nicely in cabinet, and hold a decent amount of pasta, soup, stirfries, salad and rice . Really nice Size bowl, A little weighty but it is deep - some pasta bowls are just too shallow Great depth and classic design. I love that the color can mix and match with different design dishes and still looks good. Dishwasher safe but very difficult to load in dishwasher—-takes up too much space because of the thickness and shape. Great quality.

I love this bowl! It sits on our counter filled with fruit most of the time. I like that it is large and shallow. I've also put a big salad in it and it will be perfect for pasta dinners! It's dishwasher and microwave safe which is nice. It's definitely a versatile piece of tableware!

This is a really nice serving bowl and not just for Pasta! Its great for serving vegetables, rice, chicken etc, etc, etc. It has a nice heavy feel and goes with most any other dishes since it is white. It's easy to clean wither by hand or by dishwasher. It's just simply a nice dish.

I got this bowl for a personal salad bowl but it is way too big. I decided to use it as an accent piece on the dining room table. It is a beautiful bowl and has a lot of weight to it. Looks great on the table!!!

The description for this bowl simply said it was "large" without any indication of the actual size. It wasn't kidding! This bowl is HUGE! I was hoping for a pasta dish to hold enough dinner for my family of 4 but I feel like this could probably hold enough pasta for 8-12 people. It's also incredibly heavy and bulky. This would never be able to be passed around a table. You would only be able to set it someplace and have people serve themselves. I like that it's dishwasher safe, but it would probably take up about half of the dishwasher bottom rack. I'm currently using the bowl to hold fruit that I'm waiting to ripen up... including a WATERMELON! :-O

The bowl is heavier than most pasta bowls. However, when I added 8 oz. of cooked spaghetti, there was a loud crack -- and the bowl had an 8" crack from the rim through the bowl bottom! I was amazed, and my jw dropped when there was a second -- and third -- loud crack. One of those produced a 3" crack from the rim downwards. May be Ok for decoration or fruit, but not for spaghetti.
