We really like this new cake carrier. It is very sturdy and see no problems in the design. Has heavy clear plastic top so you can see exactly what is inside. Holds 24 cupcakes which is great for school activities when food is needed. Handle seems very sturdy and large enough to make it easy to carry your cake or pops or cupcakes. No problems with the latches. Fits perfectly in the fridge. Holds my cake perfect. I do not notice any odors coming from the plastic that would hurt the cake. So easy for me to just pop it in the car and go. Can be used for many items that you want to transport. Love how attractive it is and not bulky at all. It is about 9 inches tall. Good price, I have seen others more expensive that were not as sturdy as this one. I made a devils food cake with whip cream topping and it keeps it fresh easily. It has 4 little clips that you just pop up into lock position. I have enclosed a picture of the handle so you can see how wide it is for easy carry. I really love it light . I really recommend this cake plate for all your little trips or outside BBQ.

I've had a difficult time finding a cake carrier that would hold a 3 layer cake. This one does that perfectly! Picture is a 3 layer 8" cake. Got the cake safely to my granddaughter's birthday party. (I obviously wouldn't carry it by the handles, just to be on the safe side. But it perfectly fits the cake.)

Perfect for making a birthday cake when I couldn't find anywhere that could make the v one my son wanted. It's very large though and was hard to find space to store it. I used a 10"circle pan for the bottom and the top cake was made from a 5 layer Wilton mini cake pan kit.

The lock on this broke after about a month of having it and using it twice. It won't snap into place and it's not stable with only three clips to close it shut. Unfortunately, I would recommend another product over this one. The materials don't seem high quality.

Unfortunately, the little clip on one of the latches broke the first time we used it so now the cover does not completely secured to the base. The clips the hold the latches closed are small little pieces of plastic which seems like a bad design. The images show the latches with and with our the clip.

Unfortunately it has a strong plastic scent that effects the taste of food stored in it. Even after multiple washes. It's well built and had many configurations to fit cupcakes, cakes, and cake pops, however once food spends more than a few hours in the container everything starts tasting like the smell of plastic.

One of the locking mechanisms and the tab that it connects to were broken off and completely missing when it arrived. Leads me to the idea that it is a poor design. I liked the overall look of the product, but the closure design is poor. The fact that it was packed (these do not come in a box) and delivered that way is another thing.
