Better Homes & Gardens Traditional Bronze Victorian Floor Lamp 70"

I purchased 2 of these in 2016 and didn't hesitate to purchase 2 more when the new ceiling fan lights my SIL installed were not as bright as they should've been. The 2 I bought in 2016 are still working exactly as they should. I like to keep continuity in my Victorian styled home and these allowed that as they are the exact same style and color as my previous purchase.

I think I received the best value for the money. I shopped extensively before finding these lamps. They were easy to assemble, and the process was quick.

very satisfied with the lamp it was just as photos described. easy to assemble in under 20 minutes. it's taller than me so I have a time with the top. I really like it would buy another.

I love this lamp! It's made well and I don't have to worry about it falling over. Beautiful design on the globe. I will purchase a few more in the future.

It looks like a beautiful piece of art it's not plastic which is the good thing about it and I put it together all by myself Highly recommend I even bought 1 for my bestie

After reading some of the other reviews I thought this lamp might not be so good, but decided to take the risk because of the price. I was pleasantly surprised. I loved the look, the quality, and the price. Great value! P.S. If you take your time putting the pieces together the lamp does not lean.

Have one of these that I love. Order a 2nd one for another area. Quality seems to have gone down. Really difficult to line up the sections so they would screw together. It was like the threads are off or something. Finally got it together and it works great but it was challenging to get it lined up so it would screw together. Did not have this issue with the first one I bought a couple of years ago. Still a good lamp once it went together.

I ordered three of these lamps because they were not in stock at my local store. The description did not reveal this was not a three way lamp - just a simple single wattage on off socket. In this day of LED bulbs, the included CFL bulb (with attendant hazardous mercury problem) is not useful. The lamp is robust and attractive. It is well made. It is not obvious how to replace the bulb socket with a three way, but I can use them in locations I don't need a three way bulb. The lamps are also limited to 100 watt incandescent, 23 watt CFL. No rating is offered for LED, however 100 watt equivalent illumination LEDs usually draw less current than CFLs, so that should not be a problem. But this may be a problem to those who need 150 watt incandescent equivalent illumination I see the store is now stocking a very similar lamp that has a three way socket for the same price. That is my preferred purchase in the future.

I purchased this hoping it would give a cozy, bright light to my living room, but I'm disappointed. It doesn't create a nice ambiance, and even after trying different bulbs, it still looks dull.

I bought this lamp so that I could use an incandescent bulb while doing my laundry because the light in my apartment gives me migraines. At first I really liked the lamp, (even though part of the shade is not frosted which makes the light very bright.) Now however, the lamp flickers and is completely useless to me. I would return it, but it is past the return window and I threw away the packaging. It was a total waste of money!
