Super quick preparation and filled the kitchen with the most pleasant apple cinnamon smell. It smelled so good that my six year old son (who eats NOTHING and lives on air because he is so picky) actually tried a bite and LOVED it. Besides my child actually trying it, what also surprised me is how much healthier it is than other name brand instant oatmeals (loser sodium, lower calories, lower carbs, lower total carbs, lower sugars, etc., AND includes flaxseeds, which pack so many health benefits) and still be just as or more delicious than them as well. I am truly impressed.

I was very impressed with the apple cinnamon steel cut oats. The flavor was great and I loved the individual packets for an easy fast breakfast. My 6 year old and 16 month old both loved them as well. I feel much better feeding my kids Better Oats steel cut oats instead of the other instant oatmeals. My only complaint would be that they aren't certified gluten free.

I fixed this for my 8 year old twins and myself for breakfast and we just weren't fans of it. The flavor wasn't as sweet as other brands we currently eat. I don't think we would purchase this again as we would have to "dress" it up a bit more for their flavor preferences.
