I can always depend on Fisher's for freshness during holidays, which is when I do most of my baking. Also, their walnuts and pecans seem to have more flavor than other brands.

These Fisher nuts are extremely tasteful when used in baking, also you can purchase them whole. Save an awful lot of time when you don't have to chop them yourself.

I added it to the apple cake I made. Everyone enjoyed the cake and the chopped pecans in the cake. The recipe didn't call for nuts, but it added to the cake's flavor.

Great tasting, healthy snack containing Omega 3... good nutrition for the brain and heart. I chop them to add to recipes for cookies, banana bread and dessert bars. I buy them often at a great price!

I am a home Baker--I pretty much bake all the time for myself. I usually enjoy sharing my creations with friends and family. I buy in larger quantities, and this weight of nuts lasts for awhile. The Pecans are flavorful, fresh and nicely packaged. For me this is a "home run" way to buy my baking supplies! I appreciate having a Walmart in my neighborhood, and on-line-- Walmart is awesome! I was perusing the pecans and figured the pieces would be cheaper than the pecan halves, because more care needs to be taken to get a whole nut in only 2 pieces. However, I was noticing a lot of them were charging more (or same price) for broken pieces, which you can get from just trying to get the halves... But, with that said, these really are very delicious and I can use them in my recipes just fine. I have to make sure I get my recipes made before I eat them all as a snack!

The quality of the product is good. But, there are cheaper options that cost much less. The high prices are just too much.

the last 3 bags I've purchased had pieces of branches, and one bag had a small 1 inch size bone in it. What is happening to the quslitu of your pecans? i almost broke a tooth and swallowed the bone.
