This hot chocolate reminded me of visiting my grandparents in the winter. Grandma always had a mug of hot cocoa waiting after we'd come in from the cold. She'd tell stories, ask how school was going, and somehow make everything feel a little better. Grandpa had a different approach. While Grandma was stirring cocoa, he'd be sitting in his chair with a beer, insisting it was "just as warming," despite all evidence to the contrary. Grandma's been gone for a while now, and little things like a cup of hot chocolate have a funny way of bringing back memories. This mix is rich, chocolatey, and comforting—exactly the kind of drink that makes you slow down for a few minutes. I think Grandpa would still reach for his beer, but Grandma definitely would've approved of this hot chocolate. Five stars.

This showed up in the Zip style bag which was my only concern. No biggie it sealed properly every time. THIS hot cocoa!! 🎉Oh my, the best instant I have ever had. I do use whole milk, but this stuff is so rich and with the bits of dark chocolate! It's the perfect yummy warm night night drink before bed. It's really That Good!

I've never had an addition to anything, But I definitely was hooked from the first time I tasted this stuff! It's the best hot chocolate I've ever had personally if you could tell from my orders that I like it I don't order the one at a time and I almost go every day I don't wanna burn out though cause it's really good. Try it they've also got a white chocolate, but I like the dark the best.

Best rich not overly sweet cocoa out there. The little chocolate chips will get stuck on the inside of the cup which is not so good for cocoa but they are great when you add this to other desserts. This is great to add to vanilla yogurt. Makes it taste like chocolate mousse and the crunchy chips are so good.

This is the BEST hot chocolate mix. Forget Swiss miss or Starbucks this is organic (YAY!) and takes away some of the guilt of drinking hot chocolate. I mix with coffee and it is still so sweet. So delicious. Stir stir stir because there are mini chips in it which is weird textured until they melt. Also great mixed with protein.

This is a little pricey compared to some other brands, but i will still buy it again and recommend it because it is extremely rich and decadent. i, personally, love rich and decadent hot chocolate as a treat. i still like a Swiss Miss hot cocoa, but this Bettergoods brand is what i would reach for when i want a rich, decadent chocolate treat. Both brands have their place, if that makes sense. i mix mine with warm whole milk. i don't feel it is bitter at all, but i like dark chocolate, so that is probably relative to individual taste.

wow!! used oatmilk to make this and it turned out amazing! super chocolatey and creamy but not overly sweet. would definitely buy again. I also added some mini marshmallows (like the kind you get in swiss miss packets) and it was perfect. such a treat on a cold night!

I'm really picky about hot chocolate. The brand I usually use has been out of stock at Kroger's for months so decided to look for something else. I went through a few before I found this and it tastes almost exactly like the Kroger's private selection double chocolate hot chocolate I love. Highly recommend

I've been wanting hot cocoa that is dark in flavor! This hits the spot! Love it! I don't know if it's real cocoa though…these days you just don't know what is in anything you eat/drink. It tastes like dark cocoa…

Was really looking forward to the Better Goods Double Chocolate Cocoa during our winter freezes. The reality was very messy and clumpy. We used a kettle and followed the directions exactly. The pieces of chocolate stuck to the bottom and the chocolate taste was overwhelming even with milk or whipped cream was added. The recipe for this needs to be adjusted.
