bettergoods Double Chocolate Hot Cocoa Mix, 12 oz

This is a little pricey compared to some other brands, but i will still buy it again and recommend it because it is extremely rich and decadent. i, personally, love rich and decadent hot chocolate as a treat. i still like a Swiss Miss hot cocoa, but this Bettergoods brand is what i would reach for when i want a rich, decadent chocolate treat. Both brands have their place, if that makes sense. i mix mine with warm whole milk. i don't feel it is bitter at all, but i like dark chocolate, so that is probably relative to individual taste.

wow!! used oatmilk to make this and it turned out amazing! super chocolatey and creamy but not overly sweet. would definitely buy again. I also added some mini marshmallows (like the kind you get in swiss miss packets) and it was perfect. such a treat on a cold night!

Best rich not overly sweet cocoa out there. The little chocolate chips will get stuck on the inside of the cup which is not so good for cocoa but they are great when you add this to other desserts. This is great to add to vanilla yogurt. Makes it taste like chocolate mousse and the crunchy chips are so good.

This is the BEST hot chocolate mix. Forget Swiss miss or Starbucks this is organic (YAY!) and takes away some of the guilt of drinking hot chocolate. I mix with coffee and it is still so sweet. So delicious. Stir stir stir because there are mini chips in it which is weird textured until they melt. Also great mixed with protein.

I've never had an addition to anything, But I definitely was hooked from the first time I tasted this stuff! It's the best hot chocolate I've ever had personally if you could tell from my orders that I like it I don't order the one at a time and I almost go every day I don't wanna burn out though cause it's really good. Try it they've also got a white chocolate, but I like the dark the best.

I'm really picky about hot chocolate. The brand I usually use has been out of stock at Kroger's for months so decided to look for something else. I went through a few before I found this and it tastes almost exactly like the Kroger's private selection double chocolate hot chocolate I love. Highly recommend

I've been wanting hot cocoa that is dark in flavor! This hits the spot! Love it! I don't know if it's real cocoa though…these days you just don't know what is in anything you eat/drink. It tastes like dark cocoa…

We love this hot cocoa mix. It's made with hot milk, not hot water so there's not a bunch of powdered milk in it. It has a nice, rich chocolatey flavor. Some packets have little mini chocolate chips in them. They're all delicious.

I normally prefer really sweet hot chocolate, but this definitely had more of a dark chocolate flavor, and it was barely sweet (even after putting marshmallows in it). I also put quite a bit of the chocolate powder in my milk but it just didn't feel very “thick.” I think it's alright, and if you're someone who prefers a stronger chocolate flavor, you'll love this. I don't believe I'll buy this one again after I use it all. I wish it were creamier/smoother, and maybe a little more sweet.

Was really looking forward to the Better Goods Double Chocolate Cocoa during our winter freezes. The reality was very messy and clumpy. We used a kettle and followed the directions exactly. The pieces of chocolate stuck to the bottom and the chocolate taste was overwhelming even with milk or whipped cream was added. The recipe for this needs to be adjusted.
