Even a 6 Year Old Loves It!
This is my favorite bettergoods item! It is a tiny bit spicy but I'm a spice whimp. It's got a wonderful but moist cornbread texture. I do always add the recommended cheese. Mild cheddar is our favorite. It cooks perfectly in the 22 minutes. It's a huge hit for my super picky 6 year old and he always asks "just one more huge piece". My very picky husband or has an esophageal stricture will walk by and pinch a piece off and eat it, like it's cake. Super delicious. Highly recommend.

So easy to make and bake. Flavorful with a bit of a bite but mild...you can always add more heat before you cook it but I liked it as is.

Disappointed. I baked it longer to try and get the center cooked. Still remained undercooked in center. Taste was OK. Texture wasn't great. It didn't save well at all.

Weird flavor and texture
Really weird flavor. I made this as a side and all 4 people who tried it did not like it. I usually love green chili flavors and I love corn bread, but this is really weird and not good at all.

Terrible!
Worst cornbread I've ever tasted. Agree with another reviewer who said it smelled and tasted like cardboard. Bake time was 22-24 minutes, after 24 it was still raw in the middle. Took another 15 minutes of baking time. At no point did it smell or look appealing, and when it was finally done, the taste did not make up for that. My husband didn't like it either, and he's not picky. Would not recommend!

I had high hopes for this cornbread mix, but I really have nothing good to say. It was a total disappointment. Others described it as having a "bite;" I didn't taste any "bite" and not much flavor.

Thought I would try this Walmart brand. This cornbread is really awful. I followed directions exactly. The texture is doughy,even though I tried baking it 10 mins longer than recommended time. Not much taste to it. I'll make my own. I also bought some chicken breading which I will give a try.

Cardboard taste
I normally don't write food reviews but felt compelled this time. Literally smells and tastes like cardboard. I was hoping for this to be good cause I enjoy each of these ingredients !
