I'm surprised by the bad reviews because this is one of the better boxed cookie mixes I've ever had. I just came back to order another box!

We have dairy allergies in the family. This cookie mix was easy to make dairy-free and the cookies turned out delicious!

I'm honestly surprised by the bad reviews. I almost didn't buy these because of that, but decided to try them anyways. They remind me of regular tollhouse cookie texture. The "grittiness" ... all I can think is that it's the sea salt bits but it's not even that noticeable that I'd even think to call the cookie gritty. Cookies have a light buttery flavor. (I saw one comment about vanilla after taste... I didn't get that at all...) I don't think it's any better or worse than other cookie mixes I've tried. Would buy again.

Although I do like these cookies, I prefer Pillsbury

The flavor is good, but they are a little gritty in texture. The flavor and texture combined reminds me of Malt-o-Meal or Cream of Wheat, but as a chocolate chip cookie. I love that instead of chocolate chips, there's large pieces of thin, broken chocolate bar. The salt flavor is also pleasant. The instructions were spot on for quantity and bake time. It's honestly just the texture that is off. They're edible, but not the best cookie mix I've tried. I don't think I'd repurchase.

These cookies taste very bread like and aren't super sweet by any means, my husband thought they tasted like cornbread. They certainly aren't "super rich".

Disappointed! There is an unpleasant heavy vanilla aftertaste. The consistency is almost grainy. Would not buy again!

These taste like baking soda, and there is a grittiness that takes over any other possible flavors or textures.

Terrible taste. Dough inedible, so I cooked some and they were gross. Tasted like it was ground up cardboard. Threw the rest of the dough away.
