(3 pack) bettergoods Raspberry, Cardamom and Rose Fruit Spread, 10 oz

Let me start with the sweetness... Have mercy is it SWEET! Follow the measurement on the back for a serving and half it. But if you like things in a heavy, sweet manner, then you'll be in heaven. The flavor profile is nice, but not sure when or how Rose comes into play with it... I've eaten rose petals, and I've steeped them into tea...not sure they have real Rose in this at all. The Raspberries, tho, are quite prevalent and sooo many seeds. Cardamon... I adore it, and like the Rose, I am not sure what amount of any they actually have included. Maybe it's just them not having a solid balance of flavor and relying too heavily upon the Raspberry. I have a small mesh strainer, and I poured the fruit spread into it and pushed it thru to remove the seeds. It's a spread so the consistency is still the same even after a mesh strain. I am happier eating it now. Raspberries own the flavor profile, so in that regard, it is pricey for just them and being a spread as opposed to a jelly or jam. I like mixing it in with plain Greek Yogurt with pepitas.

I really thought this was a sauce. I bought as a topping for my yogurt. After I opened it, I realized it was jam. BUT it still went great with my greek yogurt and Better Goods granola. Great flavor. Not overly sweet. Texture a lil thick but it still worked for me.

When I read the name "Raspberry Cardamom %26 Rose Fruit Jam" I went weak at the knees... 3 of my favorite flavors combined! I was in a rush this morning so grabbed a brioche roll, didn't stop to add butter or heat it, just spread some of this jam on it - YUM! I think it would be good on pancakes or banana bread, too. I'd rather have a small amount of a very flavorful and interesting jam like this than a larger quantity of one of the same olds. Flavor Idea: I think Fig, Cardamom and Pistachio jam would be amazing!

The flavors are complex, but exquisite! I like bettergoods strawberry lemonade gelato. This fruit spread is the perfect addition to the gelato. Swirl it into the gelato...enjoy!

So good!!! A really lovely raspberry jam I'd buy again and again. Would be great for sweet or savory uses. Or on its own, spoon direct into mouth hehe. Just wish the floral notes of rose were stronger? I didn't really detect them. This is a lovely product still though, as a treat to yourself or a gift to others.

These preserves are very tasty. I love raspberry preserves so I bought these on a whim. I'm being slow to rate items, I bought these for the first time months ago but didn't open the jar until recently. I put some on a peanut butter sandwich, and I was glad that the fruit flavor hit me before the sweetness. The price does seem high to me, but isn't that true of groceries in general right now? The hose flavor isn't distinct or too much. Recommended as a nice red flavor preserves.

It isn't bad. It tastes like any other raspberry jam. I was hoping more for rose and cardamom flavors to come thru, but it just really wasn't there. my grandmother used to make a peach and rose jam, and i was hoping for something similar, but flavor was just raspberry. For the price and size, I expected more and could have just purchased plain raspberry for cheaper. It does have s nice texture tho..

Be prepared--you will not taste the rose nor the cardamom, the main reasons I bought this. It is, however, a very delicious rapsberry jam, WITH seeds, so be warned if you have dentures! If you want this because of the rose and/or cardamom flavor, don't waste your money. There isn't even a hint of the flavors. Just tons of raspberry, which I happen to love anyways.

This is a sickly sweet gooey concoction that tastes like fake raspberry flavored something...but not jam. Buy any jam in a supermarket and you taste raspberries. This one, you taste just plain sugar with a stale raspberry flavor. Cardamom? None. Rose petals? None. What a disappointment!

Its just raspberry jam. Zero hint of cardamom or rose petal. I also wonder if the added "natural raspberry flavor" might be beaver gland. It's definitely intensely raspberry flavored. High price for a jar of jam that Dollar Tree sells the equivalent natural, clean version of in the same size. You're paying for the name with this one.
