This product is awesome. You can put it in sauces, in salads, bake porkchops, and chicken covered in it with lite bread crumbs, put it in shrimp scampi, put it on a cracker, and even use it as a sandwich spread. The flavor is subtle, not overpowering. If you like lemons, artichokes, and Parmesan cheese, you'll absolutely love this! My only complaint is it doesn't come in a bigger jar!! But that's probably because it needs to be eaten in a certain time frame with those fresh ingredients. I use 2 to 4 small jars a month. It's worth every penny! And, none of us have gained a pound from consuming this delicious concoction!!
I used this a a base. First I sautéed some onion, garlic and sliced fresh mushrooms. When that was done cooking I added the jar of pesto, a dash of white wine and a lb of already cooked shrimp. Mixed in half a box of cooked linguine. This was DELICIOUS! It does have a spicy kick to it, which surprised me since it doesn't mention any other spices on the bottle. I have a very bland, midwestern palate, so once I got used to the spiciness, I really enjoyed it. Trying to cultivate a broader palate and this was perfect.
I added about 1 cup of the pasta boiling water, then tossed with garbanzo beans, quartered artichoke hearts, and pasta, topped with Parmesan, fresh parsley, and a squeeze of fresh lemon. Easy, and amazing. I looked at other similar products, all were far more expensive. This was so good, I will buy the three pack next time.
This sauce is mild and lemony. I used it on spinach fettuccine and broccoli which made a good combination. I added parmesan cheese and black pepper but it was good by itself, too.
This was great! Added 1/2 jar to Marketside Lemon %26 Burrata Ravioli along with a bit of the pulled rotisserie chicken for a quick dinner, and it was tasty and very satisfying.
For a small jar this is a bit expensive, but the taste is excellent. I mix it with regular Alfredo or Rosa sauces to get better value and a taste that has dinner guests asking for my recipe.
This pesto-like product is so delicious. I used some as a marinade, over night on some cod pieces. Then when I baked them I used on top of the fish while baking. Delicious!!
I read the reviews prior to purchasing and several of the comments mentioned a chemically taste, but I thought I'd give it a go as I love Lemon and Artichoke, but I totally get it now. It does have a chemically taste. It's very overpowering and not a balanced flavor. I ended up mixing it in with another sauce to tone it down, but I will not be purchasing again.
tiny jar, had to add spices and would have added a can of artichokes but didn't have one on hand. cheaper to make it from scratch... also needs more lemon
This is not that good. It lacks flavor except for the artichoke and a little subtle lemon oil flavor. There are also pieces of the choke in the pesto. Save your money.
