My grandson loves cookie dough everything so I purchased every flavor of this Betty Crocker cookie dough bites for him to try. He really liked this birthday cake one and the brownie one but he didn't care for the cookies and cream and he hasn't tried the rest. These are very easy to make and he did it himself at 13 years old. He has a sweet tooth and with the pandemic and staying home, I have tried to find food items and recipes that he can make himself for something to do and these are easy to follow directions and easy, no baking required sweet snacks.
Not only is this a tasty treat but so much fun to make with my two grandchildren. Gives us that special bonding time. We're excited to try the other flavors next. Highly recommend.
These cake bites are simple to make, very quick, and perfect for all occasions. the taste is spot on. the birthday cake flavor is sweet but not too sweet. This review was collected as part of a promotion, and the opinions are my own.
These cookie dough bites were quick and easy to make. Though there is a slight artificial flavor, they tasted like a cake batter in a cookie dough texture, and I liked them. (This review was collected as part of a promotion, and the opinions are my own.)
Easy to make and my daughter loves them. They are a little sweet though if you don't like super sweet stuff. This review was collected as part of a promotion, and the opinions are my own.
I found that the amount of butter and cream cheese the box tells you to use isn't enough to get a dough consistency. It was still crumbly for me so I used a bit more butter and drizzled a tiny bit of vegetable oil (not sure if it's good to consume vegetable oil like that so don't do that.) Finally I was able to get the consistency I was looking for. They taste good enough, but there is a slight TANG from the cream cheese. I like cream cheese so I don't mind it. I had to microwave the topping more than the box said, but I was able to drizzle it after. This was fine but I think the next time I'm craving cookie dough, I'll make it from scratch.
I haven't tried it yet, but I WISH THEY HAD SOME NON-MICROWAVE INSTRUCTIONS!!! We (along with several other people) choose to not use nor own a microwave, as studies have shown that they can cause cancer over the years.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When they say butter can only be softened, they really do mean it. I had butter that was just a little bit melted and could never get it to the right consistency. I was frustrated, but I will definitely try it again. It tasted good eating it straight out of the bowl either way. Also went to my local store and found about 3 other different flavors. The next time I'm making these with my 6 year old because it seems like it would be fun with kids. Thank you Try It Sampling, I received this in exchange for my honest review.
I was not really impressed by this. You're better off buying cake mix, adding water and just eating that with a spoon lol the texture of this once it's chilled is weird too chalky or something can't really describe it.
These are nasty. The have a weird salty zest to them even though I used unsalted butter. The batter was sticky and was too liquid to roll together. Overall edible, not crave worthy, but much more of a pain than they are expected to be.
