These are so simple to make and don't require lots of extras -- just one egg, a few tablespoons of oil, and water. Never fail cookies. I use a mini cookie scoop and weigh out each ball of dough to 20 grams, and I get 30 3-inch cookies per package. Not bad for about $2.50.
This has become my daughters and my favorite cookie to make!! We usually add chocolate chips to the recipe also!! We usually make two big packages together, as they go very fast in our house!
To be fair, I have never made these cookies as per the attached instructions, BUT, if you add a cup of mini Toll House chocolate chips, a half cup of peanut butter (instead of the oil), and two tablespoons of milk (instead of water), you will have an amazing cookie -- chewy. moist and delicious. I bake them 12 minutes at 375 and freeze them once they've cooled. They thaw easily for treats any time.
1 package 1 large cookie in 9x9 non stick baking pan, mine is metal 325*degrees , mash it to match pan, I have a large fork ! (12 mins )The lines disappeared and that's all right , I put timer for 5 mins more it's thick and that 5mins made it perfect! Cut them the way you want! Try it!
When I attend different functions and take peanut butter cookies, people are always asking for the recipe! They are very surprised to learn that it only takes 1 tablespoon of water, 3 tablespoons of vegetable oil, 1 egg, and the Betty Crocker Cookie Baking Mix. I add the above items to the mix, roll them into balls, place them on a baking sheet, and flatten them with a fork, making crisscross marks with the fork tine in the same amount of time it takes to heat the oven. They are so tasty. Enjoy!
I always keep a pack of this Betty Crocker Peanut Butter Cookie Mix in my pantry for those days when I'm craving something homemade but don't want to deal with the flour-covered kitchen. The cookies bake up with that ideal balance of a slightly crisp edge and a soft, chewy middle that melts in your mouth. The peanut butter flavor is rich and authentic without being overwhelming, and I love that you can do the classic fork-crisscross pattern on top to make them look like they were made from scratch. It's a total lifesaver for last-minute school treats or just a cozy night in—honestly, they're so good that most people can't even tell they came from a mix!
These are so yummy. My grandsons love getting to make them. You can't eat the dough raw like the pre-made which is disappointing, but it's very handy to keep on the shelf for when you need a little treat.
I normally make my own peanut butter cookies from scratch, but decided to try this mix. Before baking, I tasted the dough which did not have enough peanut butter flavor for me. I added 2 oz. of peanut butter and the result was wonderful, full flavor peanut butter cookies. I will use this mix again. I bake mine in a cast iron skillet and cut into wedges.
Third time I've ordered this or a similar product. Walmart continues to place items into customer's orders when the product is mishandled, damaged, and leaking. Poor customer service to give a customer a product so obviously damaged. Be sure to inspect your orders
this is how I picked my groceries up at my door and just brought them right there and set them down on my floor by the door they were torn the driver didn't even knock on my door but I seen him leaving but they tried shoving everything 13 items cat food cans of cat food sugar everything and two bags that's ridiculous I just can't believe it I mean I just can't believe how Walmart's doing
