This is my first time trying the Wakefield tomato and vegetable biochar. Smooth, even consistency and rich, dark color. Used as a soil amendment for tomatoes and squash in containers, which are all coming along nicely.

I have purchased Wakefield soil before for my indoor plants. I like this brand a lot because it does help plants grow, it's more natural and there are no gnats. I wanted to grow a tomato plant this year and this soil seemed to help it.

I've been using this for about a month or so now. It doesn't have any chemically smells, looks and feels fresh. It's kind of hard to tell if it's truly working because my plants were already sprouting like crazy! But it didn't kill them either so that's a plus. Nice packaging, I'll give that to them! I wish more people/companies would switch to paper bags when they can. Besides that! Price point is worth it if you need some good ole plant food!
