Birds Choice 12 oz. Hummerfest Feeder, Red

This is my favorite design for a hummingbird feeder. Light weight and easy to clean. I had to replace my old hummingbird feeder of the same design. After 15 years it was worn out by sun damage.

I like the look of the hummingbird feeder, but all I got was bees and wasp

The description states it prevents ants, yet within a day it was full of ants and again after I moved it.

Hummingbirds used it right away

Great hummingbird feeder! Easy to clean, no fake flowers, comes with small brush for easy cleaning

The best! Easy to clean and fill. Getting lots of hummers!

I have been hives, and the bees found my earlier feeders which consist of container gravity fed feeder. The ports were too early accessible to the bees, and they swarmed these feeders. If this feeder is NOT filled to capacity (fill to approx. 10 ozs. only), the bees are unable to get the nectar and eventually stop frequenting the feeder so the hummingbirds can feed in peace.

This hummingbird feeder is one of the best we've ever owned. It works just like it says it will and bugs do get trapped in the moat and never in the solution. I definitely don't have to worry about the solution being sloshed all over when we have high winds.

I bought one of these last year as my older, local store bought feeders were pretty run down. This spring I realized I needed another replacement and ordered a second feeder. At the onset, it appeared to be the same quality, however, the nut that secures the upside down hook, to the eye bolt on top is defective. The nut continuously loosens as the weatherguard rocks in the wind to the point that it's dangling. Slightly disappointing, but I just rethread the nut and put some duct tape on the hook threads to secure the weatherguard.

This is the only hummer feeder that doesn't drip down on porch. Instructions on the others say that unless you fill it all the way it doesn't get the suction to stop it from leaking. But since you have to change it about every three days you waste a lot on the others.
