BISSELL 1700 PowerForce Helix Bagless Vacuum

I needed a new vacuum and have had really expensive ones in the past, so I tried going the cheap route. I am not disappointed. I was able to do half of my living room before emptying. I was amazed at how much my old vacuum left in the carpet. This thing has amazing power. I have a dog and 1 cat. By time I got done with my house, this mighty powerful vacuum had collected enough hair to create a life sized Great Dane sculpture!!! No, I did not actually make the sculpture... Invest in this power house of a vacuum. I love using it. One small draw back- the hose and attachments are rather short-but I solved it with my previous vacuum's longer attachments.

Works great for the money! I 've been very surprised how well it gets up everything in my carpet. Works awesome on hardwood floors also. Very easy to put together! I have a small dog and it gets his hair up too. Had mine delivered, got it last week and have used it 3 times. Great buy!

I have had two bissell vacuums stop working within the past four years. I was going to go with a different brand this time, but vacuums are so expensive. I just decided to stay with this one. I haven't had it long, but it seems to work pretty well. Has good suction where my others would leave dust and dirt behind. Hopefully this one will work longer than a year or two though.

When the product arrived, I couldn't be more happier to vacuum my carpet. I was hesitant to purchase because it the price but it's perfect. The vacuum is very easy to assemble and easy to use. It picks up everything and suction of the vacuum is more then powerful. I would recommend to anyone.

I'm a Dyson user, but needed a spare vacuum for our lake home. It was shipped and I received it quickly, used the easy to follow instructions and in minutes I was ready to vacuum. I was really pleased and surprised by the poweful pickup this vacuum has. I rea!ly like the floor to carpet level adjustments, there are multiple settings to choose from, and this Bissell vacuum thoroughly picks up dirt and pet hair. I recommend this vacuum - it was a good purchase for me at an amazing price!

Great price!!! Light , compact and packs a lot of power for an 8 amp motor. My old cleaner had a 12 amp motor and could barely suck up dirt. But this can. Didn't expect that this little cleaner can vacuum a lot of dirt for its size. Also doesn't take a lot of storage space. Very satisfied with the purchase.

I researched this vacuum before I bought it. I read LOTS of reviews. Most of the reviews mentioned how incredible the suction/cleaning power is. I was NOT disappointed. I had vacuumed with my old vacuum approximately 10 days before I received this new vacuum. This one picked up so much more than my old vacuum did. I had to dump the canister a few times. This vacuum was pulling out dog hair from my carpet, and our dog passed away over 5 years ago. (I even had a cleaning lady for a while who used a professional/industrial style vacuum). My husband's allergy symptoms have decreased since using this vacuum, too. The carpet in the house we live in is over 10 years old, and this vacuum pulled so much stuff out of the carpet that was weighing it down, the pile was actually fluffed up. BEST VACUUM FOR THE PRICE!!!

Cord length is fine, canister is easy to dump, not heavy, I was SHOCKED at the amount of EVERYTHING that this picks up! Hair (we have a Siamese cat), dirt , etc. I actually couldn't STOP vacuuming!!!!!!!!!!!! Was mesmerized watching the canister fill up all of the stuff that our old vacuum did NOT pick up!!!!!!! My husband thought I was nuts! HAHAH

I only had the vaccum for about 2 weeks but everything works as described. It is not very noisy which is a plus. I had a little trouble putting the hose in the suction hole when I put it together and broke off a little part but everything still works.

When my Shark broke, I wanted something quick and cheap that I could use until I researched what I wanted to purchase next. This Bissel was under $50 and available for in store pick-up on the same day. It was very easy to put together and came with the standard crevice tool and upholstery brush. The machine felt very lightweight and a little cheap but the suction is excellent. The cord is a little shorter than I'm used to and it isn't as easy to maneuver but that is nitpicky. This little vacuum is actually pretty great for the price.
