Run to Walmart to get this blender! No kidding! Our younger adult daughter is visiting us over the holidays and she likes to make smoothies. My wife said she was really worried about her damaging her hearing because our Oster blender is SO loud. I mean LOUD! So I did a lot of research looking for a good, reasonably quiet, blender that wouldn't break the bank. Yeah - right! You'll find a thousand blenders out there, some cheap, some under $100, and then there's the very expensive ones. Well - our daughter over the years has had the expensive variety - a Kitchen Aid costing 8 times as much as this B
This blender is perfect for smoothies, shakes, icy drinks and sauces, with its lovely 48oz glass jar. This blender works the same way and better than most blenders, but without a lengthy display panel wrapped around the front of it with a button for every interval. Black and Decker did it again,
I rarely write reviews, but I had to write one for this awesome little blender! My VitaMix finally died after about 15 years and I didn’t use it enough to justify buying another one. I wanted something smaller anyway. This Cyclone does a great job on smoothies and margaritas (which is all I’ve made so far) and I love that I can easily wrap the cord up in the bottom to store it. The other thing I love that I couldn’t do with the VitaMix is that you can remove the blade from the bottom and put the container and lid in the dishwasher. I never felt like I was getting the VitaMix clean enough because the blade is permanently attached and you can’t submerge it in water to get it good and clean. The outside of the container always looked “cloudy.” And it is definitely a lot quieter. I just wanted to share these points in case anyone else is looking to replace a more expensive blender. Great purchase!
Excellent blender with preset buttons for different beverage types. The best feature is the lack of noise! Granted the lowest setting is the quietest of all, but if you can have a conversation while standing next to a blender, you know it's quiet! Highly recommend this product.
The best blender for smothies for low cost, this blender is more quiet than others blenders, the price is a lite expensive pero the results is amazing, i love this blender
Great and sturdy blender for home use. Love the glass jar, always a fan of black and decker. Unfortunately, the individual smaller blender requires complete detachment of the large blender which is quite a nuisance. I wish it could be easily attached and removed.
I wanted to replace my wife's from 1980 its real loud, this one has the word Quiet on the box, great. When i tried it it was just as loud as the old one called the mfg and let the guy listen and he said it was loud but it was quiet for a blender in today's market. That can't be right, this sounds like a motor cycle
Pros: For the price, Makes great smoothies, much quieter than my old one. Cons: I hate the LID!! The pitcher is Glass but the lid is a cheap plastic. It has removable plastic pieces for the pour top, which always pops off. The LID isn't very secure on the pitcher. It falls off while actually pouring
Dont waste your money! I bought this for smoothies and from the first use was disappointed at the lack of power. Ive had it less than 2 months and the blades wont even spin any more..and I cant find my receipt. Im on hold with their customer service but I dont expect miracles. If you by some chance decide to buy this junk..keep your receipt and the box it came in because you wont use it for long. And its not quiet the dog runs when I turned it on
Literally the worst and most loudest blender on the market. I used it ones. My second time using it was a disappointment. It turned on but the blades just stop working. Buying this for $50 is like flushing $50 in the toilet. I’m looking for the receipt so I can return it . Such a useless noisy blender .
