I hesitated doing this myself because of the time it would take. I'm a 40 yr old female and lemme tell you this was easy as pie. PREP TIME is major !!! I hated sanding the truck as a matter of fact after I sanded I waited a day or two before i actually started the liner lol I was happy I put the plastic on as I did so I could work the 2nd coat of the floor from the sides instead of getting back in the bed. I still had a lot of paint left after doing two coats on sides and bed and doing touch ups I probably could have did one more coat. Make sure you grab a flashlight and touch up as you go on the 2nd coats as much as possible so you leave no parts untouched. I didn't do certain parts because I'm adding a cover and wrapping the whole truck in about a wk so everything should look perfect. Definitely recommend!! saved me $800
This liner was easy to apply and looks just as good as any purchased liners. Instructions were easy to understand and it's possible for one person to apply without hassle. Saves hundreds of dollars compared to paying for professional installation!
Excellent product, slightly more difficult and time consuming than I originally thought, but very happy with how it turned out. No issues so far, held up well to hauling mulch, yard waste, tools, and bikes. I like the final product better thank prior vehicle liner that had a dealer applied spray liner which seemed thinner and had spots that were too thinly coated. Product quality was as advertised, I have a 5.5 box on an F150 super crew and had plenty of extra (enough to coat steps to my shed and run as a grip strip at the entry to my garage. 10/10 just budget a little more time than you think, took me about 3 hours to prep bed then another 2 to apply liner.
I recently used the Rust-Oleum Pro Truck Bed Liner Kit (323529) on my pickup, and I couldn't be happier with the results. The kit came with everything I needed to get the job done, including the liner material, spray gun, and clear instructions. The application was straightforward—even for someone like me with minimal experience in auto refinishing. The texture turned out exactly how I wanted: tough, slightly gritty, and professional-looking. It bonded well to the prepped surface and cured quickly. A few weeks in, it's already holding up to heavy gear, weather, and wear without showing signs of chipping or peeling. If you're looking for an affordable DIY solution to protect and enhance your truck bed, I highly recommend this product. It offers excellent value and quality you can trust from Rust-Oleum.
Delivery was timely and met expectations. Product was as described and worked well in application. Met or exceeded all expectations.
Works perfect. TY
easy to use and very good product
Great and easy to apply, comes with all necessary components. Was enough for 2 aplications for my long bed f350. Instructions are clear enough and im Not giving it 5 stars because right by the end the roller got destroyed completly so maybe include and extra roller for a more convenient aplication.
This product burst open during transit and I was unable to use it. Walmart would not accept the return due to the hazardous chemicals involved. The seller (Thank You In Advance Deals) has been unreachable for over a week due to “technical difficulties” on their website. In addition the product was packaged in a box with a “Recall” label attached to it.
Item was beyond expired. Burst pouch had not been opened but the paint was hard as could be. Has to return and get a different t item.
