I got more grit and added to the gallon of bed liner mixed well and brushed the corners and places the roller wouldn't be able to get them I rolled all what was left waited a day then applied a 2nd coat waited 7 days and it works great for me. Prep is the hardest part but most important.
I gave it a try and was pleased with the results. Most time consuming was prep , light sanding but once i got started it coated the bed nice. Its thick and bit hard to get on a roller but once you get started it gets easier to work with . Very thick and did apply 2 coats and turned out nice.
Delivery %26 return were very painful. The can was packaged in a Walmart bag with no signs of paint in the bag. Somebody had to look at this can and say it was ok to ship, seriously? Then the return process, an online order I couldn't return to a Walmart store, seriously? I had to find a FedEx depot not just any FedEx store! I would like a refund for my entire order, thanks.
Excellent product! My 2006 truck bed was so rusty it needed to be sealed and now it looks fantastic! I used a smaller roller to paint it on, FYI don't roll back over once applied. The first layer covered pretty well but the second layer covered everything. I only used half for two layers on a full 6' truck bed. I may put on another coat just because I have extra. It dries and lumps quickly in the paint tray if you're applying in hot sunlight. Completely 100% recommend this paint.
The only thing I dont like is that it's got shiny sheen to it but I wanted more flat but thats my preference. I've repainted sxs dash and bed and looks great and doesn't scratch or peel off. Just make sure to prep good. Sand and clean with a. Acetone
You will need an undercoating gun to shoot this material, link below. Soap and water clean-up! https://www.walmart.com/ip/Undercoat-Spray-Gun-with-Suction-Cup-Auto-Undercoating-Truck-Bed-Liner-Coating/39104730?classType=REGULAR%26from=%2Fsearch%26sid=81297d07-35ca-4479-8dea-23997249b85b
This product worked exactly how I had hoped it would! I had the stock drop in liner and I wanted to remove that, yet still have some protection in place. I followed the directions and as much of a pain sanding it all down was, it was well worth it. I did test it on the tailgate, which I did zero prep for, and it also came out great, however I recommend following all the manufactures instructions, just know it isn't the end of the world if your prep isn't perfect. I also used it on my aftermarket numbers which were starting to rust, and man do they look like they are brand new again!
my newest used truck has a fiberglass bed that really looked awful after a good wash and sweeping i applied this product and it absolutely is the best option, spray cabs would be extremely expensive and not be uniform,i highly recommend
This product does not preform as it is intended to. It was applied to the bed surface after following all directions on the label. The product looks good once it is on the truck bed but does not have tough bonding resistance necessary to stop it from being scratched away and exposing the truck bed. If you don't plan on using the truck bed and just want a liner than the product will be fine but for myself I need something that works and not just something that looks pretty. Rust-Oleum normally makes a good product but this one just isn't up to it. It also took three times for Walmart to ship the product. The first two times the product was opened and spilled inside the shipping box. So my question to Walmart is, can I please have my money back or credit to buy a product that actually works as intended?
This item was actually ok but Fed Ex lost another item ordered with this and there is no way to file a claim thru WM or get my money back. WALMART INTERNET ORDERING SERVICE SUCKS. IT DESERVEVS NEGATIVE STARS. I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM WALMART AGAIN.
