This is the first time I ever used Nigella Stavia. I read about this product (peoplespharmacy.com) stating it was tested and medically proven to be helpful for decreasing inflammation / arthritis pain. " A randomized double-blind clinical trial showed that Nigella sativa oil (1 gm/day) reduced inflammation for people with rheumatoid arthritis (Avicenna Journal of Phytomedicine, Jan-Feb. 2016). A meta-analysis of seven studies indicates that blackseed oil can reduce fasting blood sugar, HbA1c, total cholesterol and LDL cholesterol (Complementary Therapies in Medicine, Dec. 2017). I've only been taking this for a few weeks but I do believe it is helping. I chose these soft gels over the liquid form as I've read that the liquid has a nasty taste and it is just more convenient to take pills. Def. have to take these with food or at least chase them with "honey" to prevent those nasty "burps" or after taste. (thus why I couldn't give these the full 5 stars in all fairness). Honey works GREAT with these...no after burps at all! I've been taking about 3-4 of these per day and I've read that it does take awhile to see results. I plan to continue using these as I've had absolutely NO negative side effects and I've noticed I'm not as stiff in the morning as usual so that is a plus for me. I am just so tired of putting all the chemicals inside of my body that have more negative effects than positive I will give an update after a full 2 months of daily use!
