Blackburn V-Brake Bike Brake Pads

My mountain bike's brakes wore down and these performed better than the original ones. They do take some adjustments and braking in but it was minimal. Just a few hard stops and the brakes were set. The install was easier than expected and all of the pieces seemed like high quality. I am sure these will also last longer than my first pair.

Bicycle break pads could be a little tricky to shop for because they don't normally carry them everywhere. These were very easy to install. It took me under 10 minutes to install them and my son was able to go riding in his bike. It is very safe and works amazingly. Once you press the break, you can feel it instantly. When you are riding the bike, it feels a lot smoother than what it used to feel. Although these are some normal, basic bicycle brakes, they work like some top of the line ones. I will be ordering for the rest of the bicycles at home. These brakes have impressed me with their safety when braking. I can't wait to get a pair for my bike and start riding with my son. I highly recommend this product for anyone that needs a brake pad replacement for their bicycle. You won't regret it!

These Blackburn brake pads seemingly work great. I installed them on my Genesis mountain bike and was able to give them a light tryout on a paved road. Install was quick and easy. I haven't yet been able to get out on a trail or a mountain trail yet as living in Northeast Pa we still have almost a foot of snow yet but plan to once the trails are clear and open. I honestly have great faith in the capability of these pads, they work much better than the pads that came on the bike. I am tending to wear the front disc down too quickly as the stock rear pads are somewhat inadequate.

Brakes they're high quality brakes stop fast they're perfect

I already wrote a review of these brake pads so this is a second one. They are perfect for replacing your old pads when they wear out or fall off, like mine did. What I like best about these pads is the length. I lost the pads on the front tire of my bike. Because I don't use my front brakes as much, I put my old back brake pads on my front tire and installed these new ones on my back tire. I am very grateful to have all my brake pads on my bike now and I will probably be set for a while. I will purchase these pads when/if my other old ones need replacing.

I replaced my old bike brakes with these and I'm pleased with the results. My old brakes were old and while not worn, were squeaking with use. I replaced them with these brakes and so far so good. Replacement was simple enough. There's nothing special about these brakes as far as I can tell, but they get the job done for a fair price.

Pretty good brakes for my son's bike that needed them for his back tire. I do have to say that these look longer and they work better at stopping. I couldn't Get a decent snap because my son couldn't wait for the weather to break to get on and hit the trail but he's not complaining.

My kids love the extra protection that they get from this Blackburn V-Brake. It was easy to set on their bicycle and now they are riding with more confidence. The best part about this brake is that it has high friction rubber and performs well in wet and dry conditions which is amazing. I would recommend it.

I was worried these might not fit, aa we bought an old bike and parts are a bit different. But, these work GREAT! The fit aligns perfectly and they were a breeze to install! I will definite get this brand when it's time to replace the pads on the other bikes, too!

I waited way too long to change the brakes on my bike (but I ride kind of rarely). These are very nice. They're very grabby. They might be too grabby for just the front, but you'd be fine putting them on the back or both front and back. They installed easily, they fit well, and they look great. Just try to keep all the little washers and stuff in the same order as when you removed them. Some of them are curved just a little in one direction. Of course you'll probably also need to adjust your brake cable--I did--but it's quick and easy.
