Black %26 Decker is a name that's been around a while, This coffee maker is solid, well built. Unlike other reviewers who complained that the coffee wasn't hot enough or that it didn't maintain the temperature long enough...All I'll say to that is that I only drink coffee in the morning (1 cup) This coffee maker does a good job of brewing that cup of coffee. I'll be surprised and disappointed if this coffee maker doesn't make 10 years. Setting the clock is easy...same for brewing a cup of coffee. I haven't used the program feature yet, so I can't comment on that. After all I've said the price of this coffee maker is less than a week of Starbucks!

The perfect coffee pot for both our Airbnb renovation and the rental itself! I love that it's virtually indestructible—I didn't have to worry about it breaking while we were moving things around and rebuilding. It keeps coffee hot for hours and is super easy to clean. Highly recommend for any short-term rental host!

Coffee actually tastes better from this maker!! 1. pour water into the maker 2. run Hot water into your coffee carafe, let this preheat. 3. pour out water, put on lid and brew! The coffee is hotter than a regular maker. Coffee stays hotter longer than when the countdown timer stops. (Timer starts at 120 minutes and counts down) After timer stops, coffee is still hot. Press button on handle to pour coffee. You won't be sorry for buying this coffee maker!! Happy brewing.

This brewer does an amazing job in terms of coffee flavor and temperature. On top, the carafe keeps the coffee warm without burning it. Hope it lasts for many years

The clock is not as big as previous model so the AM/PM print isn't as big so it's difficult to see. Once you do “brew later” the clock disappears %26 all you see is what time it's going to brew. Last the heating element stays on for 2 hours, previous model it shut off because coffee stays hot in the carafe that's the whole point!

This is a replacement of a the model that costs 102.00usd at this time, this version was 62.00usd @ 7-13-2026. The brew wand has been updated to be easier to clean and over all looks better than the older one, I just wish the LED screen was easier to read as it is friggin small, have to use a flashlight to see the pm markings. Over all a decent coffee maker, but some of the design choices have me scratching my head.

Can't see how much coffee is left in the carafe. Stays on for 90 minutes after (apparent) completeion of brewing. No heating plate below carafe, but carafe is thermal and keeps coffee hot for hours. But, as noted, can't see how much coffee remains in carafe.

Only because it doesn't have a warming plate, I'm less than pleased with this for the price. It's my fault for not realizing it, but this was a first for me with a coffee pot! Even when I warm the carafe with HOT water prior, the coffee just doesn't stay hot. If you drink your pot of coffee quickly, you will probably be happy!

It made a good cup of coffee. But I bought specifically when family/friends come for a larger quantity of coffee to serve. This looked great as a stainless steel pot would certainly provide for a group and stay hot! Unfortunately the description did not tell me that the coffee does not stay hot. In just 1/2 hour is luke warm. The plate that the pot sits on does not heat at all, so the pot itself is the only thing that keeps the coffee hot! The little booklet says to run hot water into the pot first to warm the inside of the pot. That's a real pain to go through all that AND it made no difference. The coffee turned barely warm within a 1/2 hour. The description and the video I watched before I bought it was very misleading.

This pot is made of cheap plastic except the pot itself. The black plastic tank scratched when we wiped it with a paper towel before we even used it. Also, the hotplate is plastic. A metal mesh filter is not included, so you will need to use paper filters.
