I purchased this trimmer when it was on sale.. what I didn't like was it appear to be used. both the manufacturer and walmart said they would make it better.. the manufacturer said they didn't sell used things. i took walmart up. add captain because I really needed to trim my bushes.. what I love about this is it's a plugin. electric pugs , give it more power and weigh less.. which is important to me It has a thing to put your cord through, but it never works.Because they make a too thin , I use a three pound plug outside and it does work 42 pr

This was a replacement for the same model that I had previously. With time, the blades dull. I tried sharpening them with marginal success. For the money, it was better to buy a new one. It's a pleasure to see the clippers clip again. BTW: I find myself buying online more and more from Walmart. They generally have exactly what I want. Delivery's good and the prices aren't bad.

Well-made, light weight, easy to handle, feels balanced, good safety features, great price online. There is minimal assembly required, just a safety shield that attaches with a single screw (phillips type). There is a neat interlocking feature to keep your extension cord plugged in. Must stay alert when using corded trimmers like this, but I prefer corded to batteries. Makes clean, even cuts when I trim my yew shrubs. Recommended.

This is a really nice hedge trimmer. I doubt there is a better value out there. You may spend a lot more and get one a little better, but at this price you won't beat it. It seems very durable and cuts effortlessly. I trimmed up some hedges in my back yard and had no problems whatsoever. I am not sure how thick of branches it can cut, but for the smaller branches on the hedges I was using it on, it worked perfectly. It is pretty light weight and easy to operate. Black and Decker has always been a good brand. Their products are an excellent blend of quality and affordability. Unless you are a professional who is pushing a hedge trimmer to its limits everyday, you probably won't regret buying this one. I am very happy with mine and the money I saved.
