BLACK+DECKER BDCR20B 20V, Bare Tool Cordless Electric Reciprocating Saws Power Saw, 3000 RPM

This is a very handy saw. Because of its size and weight it's very easy to manage even when cutting stuff overhead or on a ladder. High speed, and with a premium carbide tipped blade it cuts branches and roots very well. It struggles when trying to cut 4" roots buried in clay, but I use a 6 AMP corded reicprocating saw for those situations. Like most Recips, this one does vibrate but not any more than other saws in its class. I usually just use a 2ah battery, again, for ease of use and light weight.

I feel very handy for in the house. My hubby has one that I could use, but I wanted one for myself inside the house. So far I have installed a much needed towel rack for the bathroom and the power tool did exactly what I needed it to do. I like Black + Decker!!!

I just got this and only used it once. so far so good. I would have put 5 stars but don't really know things like how long battery last because I just got it.

Drill Arrived after a unacceptable shipment from UPS where it sat on the side of the road for two days instead of driving down my driveway to my house. Arrived in good condition and packaged well. Upon unpacking the first thing I noticed is this drill is smaller in size than my Hyper Tough 18 volt drill. No complaints on Hyper Tough but smaller means lighter also. The battery is about half the size of the older 18 volt drill . The Black and Decker is much lighter and that is a BIG PLUS when working over head and holding the drill up. It uses a Lithium battery that is 20 volts. It has good power and seems to last longer than the other drill. It has the adjustable clutch with ten settings. The grip feels very comftorable and with its smaller size and being lighter and a longer, more powerful battery that charges up quickly. (First charge was about two hours) It is a very good choice. Also being a Black & Decker, parts should be readly available, like extra battery if needed. The charger is a small unit that slips on the battery and a wire goes to the part the plugs into the wall. It comes with a philips head bit that has a straight slot on the other end. Is neatly kept in a slot made to store it on the base of the drill. I like this drill and certinly would purchace one after getting the chance to try it out.

Black and Decker 20V Max Lithium Cordless Drill is a joy to use around the house. It made short work of an unassembled queen bed foundation the day after it was received. The tool is compact and lightweight which is exactly what I need in a drill. The shorter barrel makes it fit in cramped spaces nicely. The orange housing is a plus since it makes it ever so easy to quickly spot it when it is stored or you have clutter in the work area. Likely that housing will break if the drill is dropped from ladder height or whatever but any of them will no matter how much you pay for it. It has plenty of power with its 20 volt lithium ion battery and even after installing 30 screws it is still going strong. Although this drill was working when I first got it, likely it didn't have a full charge. I was anxious to get It fully charged but unfortunately didn't note how long it took. The 11 torque settings on the clutch are adequate for drilling and screwing tasks. The light on the foot is aimed up and although it is not real bright, it is much appreciated.

I have already used this drill for two small projects with great success !!! It will be useful for any of my home needs. I am not a pro at these projects but I can see how this cordless drill will be a big asset to my needs. The weight and size of the drill is perfect for my needs. The settings are easy to use and the LED light is great for an old guy like me. I also like the not having to use a chuck to tighten the drill bits. I used both the slower and fast speeds. This process is very easy while using this drill. This is a very useful tool for any project !!!

Black and Decker 20v lithium Drill/Driver is a great tool. Don't let It's smaller compact design fool You. There's plenty of power and torque to do big jobs around the House. Ive, owned Black and Decker Tools for nearly 35 yrs and The price is cheaper than most. But, the quality is as Good or better than the higher priced competitors! The lithium battery holds charge longer, is lighter, And The charger itself is not bulky. I put it in a small tool bag to keep up with it and other accessories, that I need to work with. (Walmart sells A package that includes the bag, and a selection of driver bits that Will serve most of Your needs) The color is bright orange and black, typical and easily Recognizable for Black and Decker Products, but this makes it easier for Me to keep up with. The keyless chuck holds well for awhile. But, like most Drills, high demands will cause it to loosen up on Your Bits and You will need to retighten. It comes with one dual bit, a Phillips and straight Screwdriver, so, You will need to purchase another package of bits, later. Overall, It's a nice, durable drill/driver that can handle being accidentally dropped from the ladder a few times.

This Black + Decker 20 volt lithium ion cordless drill/driver is something everyone should have amongst their tools. It is well constructed, light weight, and has good power. The handle fits the hand very comfortably. It has many wonderful features: 11 position clutch, LED light, variable speed trigger switch, forward/reverse button, keyless chuck, torque adjust collar, bit tip storage compartment, and a battery release button. It comes with the 20 volt lithium ion battery and charger. The battery is easy to load and unload.It is easy to load and unload drill bits and screwdrivers. It easily reverses speed. You can drill into wood, metal, or plastic. The LED light comes on automatically when drill is activated and lights up the immediate work area.

The blade is a bit short so I bought longer 15” tree cutting blades. It accommodated the new blade beautifully. My only issue was the short time on the battery.

This was the third drill I have bought! This time I bought the three year warranty! I didn't even make it 2 months and the same thing happened to this drill! The switch just quit working, The switch went out of the other two. I called Black and Decker they told me to take it to a repair shop! The switch was not available to replace from Black %26Decker
