BLACK+DECKER dustbuster AdvancedClean Cordless Handheld Vacuum, for Car and Home Use, with Rotating Slim Nozzle and Crevice Tool, CHV1410L, White and Blue

I want to return this model for the same model I used for the last 3 years! The old Dustbuster runs about 30 percent longer on a charge, it's filter system is a lot faster to clean. The new one works good but doesn't run long enough to clean the same area as the old one which means I have to charge it to complete cleaning the same area. Not acceptable!

The battery charge does not enable the vacuum to run very long. I couldn't even complete my sofa, which isn't dusty or soiled so vacuuming just long enough to remove a little unseen dust. One primary reason for a cordless is to be able to vacuum without the continuous charge of a plugged cord and this fails. Suction is worthless if the vacuum doesn't run. Maybe it operated for 10 minutes, before I put it on the charger again.

I should have more closely read what was included, to my disappointment the wall mounting bracket is not included. So it sits on a very unstable disc that doesn't have a snap into lock of any kind it's wobbly so I have to place it in a odd place that it doesn't get bumped and fall to the floor. It's very easy to clean, it's attractive, the brush feature is only useable when you are not in the extended mode. The tube attachment is telescopic however mine does not lock once extended ,which is a bit of a nuisance. It falls back inward with any pressure or if the floor/counter is touched. I am noise sensitive and think it has a high pitching but if you keep it touching an object it's less severe. I'm guessing for this little guy to be such a good pickerupper it needs to be a bit noisy.

I first bought this vacuum 11 years ago and it has worked well. I really like that the charging base does not have to be wall mounted so that it can rest on a countertop. But, after 11 years, the battery run time has gotten too short, so I just ordered the same unit as a replacement. Great product.

Love the charging dock. Great suction. So far, so good.

i like the fact that is cordless and you are able to carry and use anywhere. I also like how strong power it has. I was able to reach small places to dust and most of all is lite weight and i was able to take the dust out of my lamp shades with such ease and with out damaging the cloth or canvas material from it. What I did not like was, that once you fully charge it. The charge did not last long enough for me to finish what I was cleaning. I had to recharge again in order to continue with my shore. This was my first time using after purchase.. I will time it next time..

I am so disappointed in this dust buster! I bought it because my mother -who I live with- has the same one but I wanted one in my room so I I made it easy and got the same one she has. She's had hers for well over a year and my first time it worked great like my mom's, second time definitely full charge-lasted less than 15 minutes and the third time- a week later of it on the dock full charge and it lasted for about 7 minutes max. I'm returning it.. considering an exchange in case I had a lemon

box arrived damaged in the corner by UPS. This particular brand and model was recommended as a 'best buy' on Consumer Reports but wasn't ranked first which Im going to buy as I just returned this one . The issue was the battery. It wouldn't hold a charge even though the buster showed by the light that it's charged. I could only get six to ten swipes with this dustbuster before it would stop working. Second issue that I noticed is the dust buster sits on a wobbly charger and it does not come with a unit to hang it on the wall if you wanted to. Lastly, it is on the noisy side when I was able to use. I would spend another $50 and get a better one. Perhaps I got a bad battery but there are other negatives which I listed on my review

This Black and Decker handheld cleaner is just what I wanted. It is light weight, has two-speed power setting, reasonably priced, easy to empty and clean, and recharges in a short time just connect and plug it in. I definitely recommend this product.

rediculous. dust buster must stand upright on its charging base like it is a piece of art sculpture. it cannot be hung from the wall or tucked on a shelf. it stands 18" upright on a table or counter for charging and storage. it does not lock into the charging base so while it is standing upright for all to see and bump into it can easily fall and break or damage other things. the absurdity of this design is mind boggling.
