We've had this about a month now and I must say I have been pleasantly surprised and impressed. Had a Shark, it broke... had a high dollar Electrolux, it broke (no parts availabilty) so far this has super suction and performs excellent, very easy dumping and not NEAR as messy as the Electrolux or Shark, plus a lot more dirt capacity. I always thought Hoover was a low end and trailer park quality vacuum but this really impressed me. A+A+A+
Great suction once you figure out how to change between 'vacuum' and who knows what. At first it didn't pick up anything from my carpeting, then we figured out you have have to depress a pedal each and every time to get suction. Secondly, it is not self propelled and takes 'muscle power' to push unlike my replaced Wind Tunnel II that I had loved. Will have to get used to a 'work out' each time I vacuum now - wish I had realized it was NOT self propelled and required a lot of strength to push over carpeting!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been very satisfied with windtunnel3. Have had only a few months. It is very easy to maneuver. The suction is great. Would give five stars if only it had a rewind feature, got use to it on other vacuum cleaner. But it definitely a candidate for five stars.
Since we have only had the Hoover HP Upright Vacuum for two weeks I will only give it a 4 Star rating. The suction for carpet is great. We had a Sears canister vacuum before purchasing the Hoover. We emptied the Hoover about three times so far. It really cleans. I read other reviews where there was complaints they had to empty the dust ben too often. I don't mind since that lets me know the vacuum is doing it's job in picking up dirt. We don't have pets, so we do not have problems with pet hair. We are very pleased with the UH72600 Hoover HP Vacuum and I would recommend it to a friend. If we had owned it longer, I would not hesitate to give it a 5 star rating.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First use was efficient but the gasket between the canister and vacuum is not tight and can easily lose its seal. Also the vacuum attachments regularly came apart during use and the brush was unable to hold its position when in use inhibiting my ability dust in hard places without repeatedly readjusting. I do not think that the quality of this product is good enough to last.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There are some issues with tht vacumm that I am not satified with. First it only comes with onlt a Pivoting Dusting Tool (Brush) , and crevice tool. The dusting tool is useless unless your going to vacuum fan blades or anything up high, this comes in two pieces, the brush clips to the frame of the part that you insert into the vacuum hose, this brush will come apart at times while using it. The cord is 40 feet long which is a nice feature, but it does not automatically rewind. It is a real chore to rewind the cord by hand. I think it would have been better to have a shorter cord, than no auto rewind. This was billed as the best bagless upright, but when you read the fine print, this statement only refers to carpet floors. My entire house has tile floors, I also have no pets. I based my purchase on the statement best bagless upright, and that it apparently has the best suction. I have used it a few times, and I am just not satified with the parts or design. It does have good suction. I cannot turn of the rotary brush when using the hose and atachments. I cannot actually dust pictures, baseboard, door frames, etc because of the useless dusting tool. It also makes a lot of noise. I was offered some dusting tools because of a complant I made to the sellers, but I have not received them yet, in fact, I just received notice that have just been shipped. I don't have pets so can't say if it is good to clean up after pets, it pains me to say, but I would not recommed it based on the features and lack of tools.
This is a piece of crap and not worth a penny. After assembly and charging I tried it and found it has virtually no vacuuming power at all. Save your money and don't pay for this junk.
Deceptive picture of this Tiny vacuum I recieved. It was so small, the Dirt Cup was only holds 3/4 of a cup. Overall, low quality!! Think twice about buying this miniature vacuum
Very heavy and hard to push the lower you adjust it to your floor(on carpet). Brush roller leave one strip to the left side that doesn't even touch the floor I use carpet freshening powder. so when I vacuum , I have to keep going over where the strip is left. I looked in brushes, nothing stuck or wrapped around them. Makes a weird noise also.I've bought cheaper no name products that worked better. I bought it because I have pets. It doesn't work great in rooms the pets don't go in , so you can imagine how well it works in the rooms that they do go in.If my kids didn't rip the box all up when opening, I'd return it.
The newest version of this product no longer matches the vacuum on the box. I bought one of these a few years back, and it has a knob on the side to convert from floor to hose. This let minimal hose to be used when vacuuming. the newest version no longer has this knob. Now, the entire hose is used for vacuuming. This allows the vacuumed debris to get stuck easier in the entire length of the hose. I thought the wrong model was in the box I purchased from Walmart. The box clearly shown the knob on the side of the vacuum. I got another one and it was also the same setup, vacuum without the easy selector knob in a box clearly showing the selector knob. I returned both and spent twice as much on a Shark vacuum. My new Shark is 100 times better than what I had. Never going back to Hoover again.
