This appears to be a heavy-duty space heater that will work well in our garage. The temperature control is especially nice because we rarely need to use the garage but like it at 68 degrees F when we need it. I checked the temperature control and it turned on-and-off as expected, even at 45 degrees. The unit is large enough to heat an area of 400 sq. feet (insulated) when it is 30 degrees outside. The heater has been on sale for a couple of weeks---I bought another one for our cold basement. Recommended.

The remote is hard to get to work, but the controls on the top of the unit operate it very easily. Puts out quite a bit of heat. Good value for what I paid for it.

The Black %26 Decker heater works very well of course I just received it a couple hour ago and a battery could have came in a separate pace along with it. Thanks

Testing all the modes or eco mode, it will never cut off by itself. yo have to set it on 60 and then it will, but It'll take forever. And 60 is too cold for me. It might just be a faulty thermostat. I don't know, all I know is that is going back.

I did not receive a manual explaining how to set the heater. it worked by the first night but the second night when it was in the 30s it did not heat it would not come on.

Just bought the heater that comes with a “remote”, is it just me or I find it absurd that it comes with a remote but “no battery”. One of the reason why I bought the product is because it includes a remote but since there is no battery I have to do another errand tomorrow to check if there is a CR20253.V available in a store near my location.

Smaller than advertised ‼️ but still really good heat. The remote it comes with is impossible to get the back off to put a battery in it (batteries aren't included) so I just don't use the remote.

Used this item about 3 or 4 times in 3 months and then it stopped heating properly. Cannot find info on manufacture site for the product or to be able to submit for warranty claim. I recommend you buy another item because if I had the choice today I would.

the smaller Black and Decker heater puts off the same wattage but with a fan strong enough to move the heat around the room. I returned this product.
