Blackstone 28" Griddle Hard Cover (Model 5003) for Front or Rear Grease Models, Black

This fit my griddle perfectly and I like that it has these hooks to hang the lid on the side. It has handles on the top so you can easily remove the lid.

I was gifted a 28” black stone grill by a good friend . This grill cover.was perfect fit. A few accessories and I'll be grilling in no time. .

This lid barely fit my 28” Blackstone. With some effort it goes on but so tight it is a juggling act removing it. Seems to bind on the left and right side. If it was about 0.10” wider it would be perfect fit. Only fix is to hammer the sides of the griddle. The cover is spot welded at the corners making modifications would most likely break the spit welds and ruin the cover.

I received the item from Walmart.com and when it arrived, it was missing the hooks that holds it onto the grill. I contacted blackstone and they are sending me some without charge. That's a good company to work with.

Grill cover fits over the griddle well and does the job. It is designed to hang off the back of the grill the gridle is in use, but it seems at some point the grease cup was moved to the back of the grill. So when you hang the cover of the back when you are using the griddle, the cover leans at an angle covering the back of the griddle top due to the presence of the grease cup. Everything works fine but considering what I paid the design seem like a kluge. The cover should be out of the way when the grill is in use.

I was excited when I saw it had two hooks underneath the hardcover to hang on the back of the griddle. I became disappointed to find that when you want to hang it on the back, it does not fit correctly if you have the grease pan attached so I did not attach it. However, it seems that if you attach it while cooking, the cover would become too hot to touch. I would suggest that you purchase the blackstone that has the lid rather than this cover, but, it is 100% better than not having either. I have the 17” model with the lid and I prefer the 17” configuration with lid to the 28” with hard cover.

Great looking cover...the price vs others who sell the same item is unmatched. Amazon has it for $50. More on other websites. But maybe there's a reason for that... I returned this item twice and ultimately requested a refund... Why you might ask..? Well, the first delivery arrived damaged and missing the hooks that allow you to hang the cover on the backside of the griddle. The second delivery was missing all of the hardware. No handles... No hooks...nothing but the cover.. Pretty sure this is a manufacturer issue, but the fact that Walmart asks you why you are returning the item, then doesn't care enough to ensure the 2nd delivery is perfect puts them in the same "shame on you" category as Blackstone. Guess I will be continuing my search for a cover or lid.....elsewhere.

it came without the hooks to attach the cover to the grill. I contacted Wal-mart and was told they cannot replace parts. I called Blackstone and they said they are currently out of stock of hooks and would take 4 to 8 weeks wait. I am taking this back to Wal-mart. Thoroughly disgusted!

I still do not have this, no clue where it is and Fed Ex is of no help. I never shop on line and this has made me not want to do it ever again. To much follow up and worry and work trying to get the product delivered. Not worth the time and energy.

It didn't fit my 28inch blackstone. The cover is good but now I have a problem with the griddle that I didn't know I had until I purchased the cover! The bad part is that both the griddle and cover were gifts for my Father. The cover cannot be used.
