Blackstone 28" Wind Screen

Perfect our new Blackstone!! Great for almost everything on the griddle!!

Perfect accessory for our Blackstone griddle. We have a Blackstone griddle at work and one (a little nicer Blackstone griddle) at home. These guards were delivered just as we were leaving for work so we brought them a long to test on our griddle here. As it turns out, they are perfect! We didn't have to move the griddle around or try blocking the sides to keep the flame from going out. Plus, the griddle stayed hotter and cooked our food more evenly. Definitely a much needed accessory! Kudos!

I just received the Blackstone 28" griddle wind guard's for either the front or rear grease models and I would say it is ingenious! Installed it is perfectly fit and not to high to block from easy use of the griddle. It is doing the job of protecting the temperature from dropping and making it difficult to keep a more consistent temperature. Since I'm a fan of year round grilling, Fall, winter and spring tend to be quite windy which has made for extended cooking times with less than perfect results. This guard system has been wonderful so far. Easy to install as well! I can see this is going to be perfect for the Blackstone for a long time to come. Definitely a good idea!

These wind guards work great best thing to use when it is windy out and you are trying to cook your food outside on your grill. We sure will be getting a lot of Uses out of these this summer when we grill out when we are camping.

We cook outdoors several times a week. We have several different kinds of grills and smokers too. Most often the grill is in a sheltered are but sometimes no matter where it is placed, the wind kicks up. Because of this I have decided to change my grilling preperation and I now place less on the grill at a time and to avoid excess grease, I spray a non stick spray on the grill surface before I begin. This Blackstone grill guard will solve my problem on a windy day and also solve the problem of any excess grease.on the cooking surface. There are no directions in the box but it is easy to see how to attach. If you grill often these guards will come in handy. Blackstone makes different grill sizes so measure your grill before you buy.

There are four wind guards that came in this package. There are different sizes so you place them along the griddle just where you need them. These guards really help to cut down on the problem that the wind can cause when using a Blackstone Griddle.

Unlike my grill, I have forever been having problems with nature and my griddle. It seems like every time I want to cook; the winds gather their breath. These Blackstone guards are just what is need to allow me to cook without worry. They fit perfectly, and are high enough to guard my food, but not so high as to get in the way of my cooking. I prefer mine on the front because I usually keep my griddle close to the wall.

Wind guards do not fit the Blackstone Range Top Combo - 28" Griddle with Bonus Fryer. Only the side guards can be used. The rear guards can't be used with the hood attached to the griddle. Just having them on the sides helps contain the heat and eliminates the effects of strong winds. I purchased them to contain the heat as without them, the shelf is too hot to use while cooking. Very well made. I can keep the side guards on and close the hood. Too bad they don't make a kit that fits the Range top combo correctly. I would give it 5 stars if these fit the griddle.

The griddle guards are good!they keep the wind from hitting directly on the sides and helps with also keeping the grease from splashing onto your clothes. It doesn't stop insects if you're cooking outside but they do work and reduce wind hitting the food.

They work good but had a hard time putting them on . Wasn't quite long enough for my griddle. But they work. They do what they are suppose to do. They do a good job directing the wind.
