Blackstone 36" Griddle Wind Guards for Front or Rear Grease Models

Does a great job keeping the heat uniform and how you want it. It's always windy on our back deck and the corners never got up to temp really. Using these wind guards the corners are now seasoned like the rest of the flat top. No more cold spots. Griddle top looks great now. Entire surface is black.

For anyone who has a 36” griddle with the folding shelves, you are well aware of how warm your items are. Not only do these wind guards prevent wind heat loss, it increases heat production to the griddle with less gas and greatly reduces heat radiation to both shelves.

I already have noticed a difference in warming up time with our Blackstone 36" Griddle. I live in the High Desert in San Bernardino County. The wind up here is just as bad as a hurricane, the wind guards help and they are fantastic thank you Blackstone.

I barbeque once a week with my 36" Blackstone Griddle. 40 hamburgers and 50 hot dogs. It would work great on calm days however when there is a little breeze it seemed to take a little longer and the griddle would not get as hot. I heard about the wind guards from a friend and decided to purchase them. We had the Santana winds the weekend I got the guards and the wind guards saved the day or it would have taken a long time to cook everything. I use the wind guards every weekend now and the griddle gets hotter and cooks faster. The way I see it I will use less propane so they should pay for themselves before long. Good investment, one satisfied customer here.

We have these on our 36" at our camper and now that they are back in stock. Purchased for our 36" at home. These work great on our grill because we don't have a hood. They hook on the sides. No magnets to worry about melting. Hard cover fits on with the wind guards on. So, no need to take off when storing. I've used these on windy days with no problem. When seasoning. Was able to get the temp up to 500+ degrees

I live high up in the Colorado mountains and frequently have very high winds for days at a time. Some days it just isn't worth trying to use the griddle. I bought the wind guards for my 36. What a difference! I now have control over the wind. I switch them front to back, depending on wind direction. I'm a happy and more frequent griddler, now.

Nice product, well constructed and definitely cuts down on the wind blowing through the space between the griddle top and burners. I only wish the side pieces would reach all the way to the back to provide a more complete wind block. The product was super easy to install and it came packaged very well to insure no damage to it.

The side pieces don't lay flat. They rock somewhat. Doesn't hinder performance but you would think they would follow contour of edge. If you use the rear grease gate it is now useless. Can't use both items at same time. Built well but could be designed better.

If you have a griddle with a fold down cover, they will work, but you have to remove the side screens to close the lid. A little machining could fix this. Overall, though, I wouldn't use the griddle without screens. I live where the wind blows a lot.

Does not fit the pro series. The hinges for the lid are in the way.
