Does a great job keeping the heat uniform and how you want it. It's always windy on our back deck and the corners never got up to temp really. Using these wind guards the corners are now seasoned like the rest of the flat top. No more cold spots. Griddle top looks great now. Entire surface is black.

I live high up in the Colorado mountains and frequently have very high winds for days at a time. Some days it just isn't worth trying to use the griddle. I bought the wind guards for my 36. What a difference! I now have control over the wind. I switch them front to back, depending on wind direction. I'm a happy and more frequent griddler, now.

The wind screen works great - noticeably improved flame in breezy conditions. The grill does heat up more though, so as an added bonus I use less propane. Some people seem to complain about the way they sit on the grill, but I haven't had a problem with it. Works just fine.

I'm in the panhandle of Texas and we have some of the most windy days in the country. These do a great job of keeping the burners from blowing out and help to retain heat; therefore, you don't have to crank the burners so high. I suspect this will save propane over the long run. I would highly recommend this product!

The side pieces don't lay flat. They rock somewhat. Doesn't hinder performance but you would think they would follow contour of edge. If you use the rear grease gate it is now useless. Can't use both items at same time. Built well but could be designed better.

Love the concept, but the guards are straight across while the griddle edges are slanted downwards so they don't lay flat and it's odd fitting because they rock back-and-forth. And because the longer guards cover the grease trap they seem like they're placed wrong by having the short ones in back. The longer guards seem even more strange being on the slanted edges. It's just weird. Great, but weird.

I bought these guards to block heat from getting to the side shelves, as I badly burned a finger on a hot plate. They worked well for that, but I don’t like how they attach by booking over the edges of the griddle top - makes cleaning more difficult. Not using the rear guard for this reason. The Blackstone should come standard with metal skirts that block off the side openings, and should not hook over the top of the griddle.

Needs to be an inch longer and wider for sides and diffently wider for back side as there is big gap between for air to get thru but length is fine. Took awile to figure out how to install in back but now have to adjust lid most of time to open or close lid. Do not recommend for Airfryer combo

Does not fit the pro series. The hinges for the lid are in the way.
