Great grill for great price. Got it on sale. Had 2 previous models of this and this was a major upgrade. Sturdier construction, better wheels, stronger frame, enclosed flame to protect from wind. Like the cover (previous ones didn't have). The rear grease release is nice, previous ones had front track for grease that we had to build a piping system for. everything looks great. only issue with this design is that you can't hang the cover on the back with the grease cup on the back. The cover leans on the grease cup and bends the cup down and puts it in a slight bind. The cover hooks need to be a tad bit longer to extend the cover further out beyond the grease cup. So we will use the grease cup without the cover hanging on the back.
This beast easily accommodates meals for our family of 7. Cooks evenly across the entire surface. Cleans up easily. Easy to set up and season. Highly recommend the Blackstone seasoning and conditioner product as well. Would recommend without hesitation.
Our local Moose Lodge needed a little bit more than a BBQ grill. The Blackstone was a unanimous decision! We ordered it direct, received it in perfect condition, assembled it easily and put it to use immediately!
Two years later and my Blackstone is still an absolute beast. This griddle changed the whole backyard cooking game for me. Fast heat, even cooking, massive surface space, and the kind of flavor that makes every meal hit different. Breakfast, lunch, dinner—it handles everything like a champ. Pancakes and bacon in the morning, smash burgers at lunch, fajitas or chicken at dinner. No limits. What I love most is how easy it makes cooking for a crowd. No waiting, no juggling burners, no tiny cooking space. You can throw down a full feast all at once. The heat control is money too—hot zones, low zones, perfect sear zones. Once you learn it, you feel like a backyard chef every time you fire it up. And the cleanup? Way easier than a regular grill. Scrape, wipe, oil, done. Keep it seasoned and it only gets better with time. Mine is two years old and still going strong, still turning out bangers every cook. Only thing I wish is that it came with a top cover included, because a griddle this good deserves full protection from day one. Blackstone didn’t just make a grill—they made a backyard legend. If you love food, flavor, and feeding people right, this is the one. Absolute weapon of a cooker. 🔥🔥🔥
This thing didn't just get “used” — it got initiated into the backyard hall of fame. We spent serious time properly seasoning the Omnivore plate before the first cook, layer after layer, letting that surface build into a black-glass cooking machine. Worth every second. The heat consistency on this 36” is unreal, recovery time is fast, and the four-zone control turns backyard cooking into full-on restaurant mode. First real session? Absolute chaos in the best way possible: wedge salads with homemade blue cheese dressing, ORA King Salmon, Argentine shrimp sizzling on a perfectly seasoned surface, and enough flavor rolling off this griddle to make the neighbors start hovering. Heated steady around 350°, covered, flipped once, pulled at 130° internal — restaurant-quality results with backyard energy. The Omnivore plate held heat like a beast and gave us edge-to-edge consistency that most grills only pretend to have. What surprised us most is how fast this thing becomes the center of the night. Everyone crowds around it. Phones come out. Videos start rolling. Suddenly you're not “making dinner” — you're producing content. Breakfast, smashburgers, fajitas, seafood, hibachi… this griddle makes you look like you know exactly what you're doing even when you're improvising. Blackstone absolutely nailed the balance between performance and experience here. This isn't just outdoor cooking equipment — it's backyard main-character energy. 🔥
Awesome product and easy to assemble. Only had one issues which was the cotter pin hole wasn't drilled and slide out tray gets a little stuck other than that it would've been 5 stars.
I had an older Blackstone 4 burner and it never really heated hot to the outside edges. It got better with adding magnetic guard to limit wind and hold heat underneath. The new cool surface is redesigned on the bottom and over a very good improvement. Out of the box there were some rivets that needed to be repaired but I took care of it. Seems like the cool top doesn’t sit completely flat on the 4 posts but not something I can’t live with. Cooks great.
I bought this griddle about a year ago. I seasoned it and cooked on it I then covered it up and then two days later went to cook on it again and it was very rusty. Went on internet and saw how to remove the rust. I removed the rust and cooked on it again. After cooking I cleaned it covered it and didn't use it till now. took the cover off and it was full of rust again . This time very hard to get the rust off and didn't use it. Very unhappy with this purchase and for the price thought it would be a better product. Can't be cleaning rust off of it every time I use it.
I took it all out of the box to discover it was damaged. Walmart wanted me to repackage to return. No way could this be repackaged at this point. I'm actually surprised Blackstone let this go out to a vendor. Extremely disappointed that now I need to makes some modifications and fix this. Stay away from buying here.
Horrible company. Horrible products. Blackstone is fraudulently refusing to cooperate with Walmart to issue my refund
