Lodge Seasoned Cast Iron 8" Round Grill Press

This is a good quality iron grill press! I used parchment paper between the press and the burger meat just so there is less to clean as far as food debris. I cleaned the press with soapy water and dried with towel. No sign of rust on the item but when laid on my drying mat, there was rust residue. No harm no foul. What would you expect from an iron item, huh?! Haha Loved the way the smash burgers we made came out! Highly recommend getting a press :)

This was worth every penny. I now love frying bacon! This fits perfectly in the bottom of a 16" frying pan. It's heavy and you need a mitt to lift it when in use, but other than that it's absolutely great! I would buy it again and recommend it for anyone who fries bacon!

Works well, especially for steaks and smashburgers. It's heavy enough to obtain a good sear. The handle heats up quickly, so use a pot holder. I wish it came with a base or holder. If you need to set it aside momentarily, you'll need a stack of paper towels to prevent a mess.

Made my first ever smash burgers and this tool made it effortless and they were a 'smash' at the family get together. Highly recommended.

It works very good for the amount I paid for it. Bought it for a gift for my son in law. Used it while grilling and on the stove.

This grill press is heavy! This is going to be a fun and food filled summer! I like the size and durability of the press. Cast iron is a great and indestructible way to make tasty grilled meats that may otherwise end up tough and uncooked all the way through. So I am excited!
