Blackstone Signature Stainless Steel 14" Scraper Tongs

I had the opportunity to utilize the Blackstone Signature Stainless Steel 14-inch Scraper Tongs on multiple occasions while grilling outdoors. I absolutely love the design of this tong, as the handle features a nice rubber grip and pull-loop locking mechanism at the handle base for easy storing. The tip of this tong has a super wide and sturdy base, and lots of surface area which makes it really simple to flip a variety of foods, including chicken, corn, steaks, etc., while grilling. The serated tong edges and ergonomic tip design make for excellent holding power. The length of this tong is perfect, as they are long enough to prevent your hands from getting to close to the heat/flame while flipping your food. We use these tongs weekly both indoors and outdoors, and I love that they are dishwasher safe. Overall, the Blackstone Signature Stainless Steel 14-inch Scraper Tongs are just a truly well-made, sturdy pair of tongs that function just as promised.

What can I say, TONG, TONG, TONG TA, TONG. This the best heavy duty long tong I've ever had. Balanced and the grip awesome. Don't forget it's excellent for picking up large chunks of vegetables, Scallops, fish, shrimp and thick steak as well.

I waited a few days to review the Blackstone Signature Stainless Steel 14 Scraper Tongs, so I could test them this weekend while cabin camping. They worked well gripping the salmon while flipping in the frying pan without crushing it. The tongs were elegant when serving from the frying pan to the dinner plate.

My husband and I both use our grill, and we both give these grilling tongs our stamp of approval. We replaced some cheap, short tongs that were always a little wobbly, and did not line up. It is so nice to have our hands several inches further away from the heat of the flames. Hands are also protected by the rubber handle grips. My husband grilled steaks yesterday. He said they were definitely sturdy enough. I'm sure there are heavier ones available for your pro grillers, but these will do fine for the rest of us. He noted that the tongs also worked quite well to turn onion slices. It is great to have the proper tools! I washed the scraper tongs by hand, but the tool IS dishwasher safe. The tongs sport a loop on the end for hanging them up. If you pull on the loop, it locks the tongs securely closed for storage. We both LOVE that innovation! (See pics.) You can either toss them in a drawer, where they take up little space when closed, or hang them by the loop. The tongs have a very nice appearance, so look good hanging. I am glad they arrived in time for the grilling season! We use our grill a couple times a week all summer, and as late into the fall as possible. Both of us recommend these Blackstone 14" Signature Scraper Tongs. They would also make a nice hostess gift, or for newlyweds if coupled with a few other grilling tools.

This is the review of the Blackstone Signature Stainless Steel 14 inch Scraper Tongs. Finally, I have found a very good set of tongs that will not twist when grabbing meat off the grill, or griddle. The Blackstone Signature Stainless Steel Tongs are a nice sturdy stainless steel tongs that have the ability to grip and hold whatever I want to pick up or move around on the grill. Also, the length of the tongs is nice and long so that you can reach to the back of the grill, or griddle, and not have to worry about the heat getting to you. The tongs are made of stainless steel which is going to be nice over the long run with this product. The tongs also have a nice look to them, nice enough that they make me want to buy the new Blackstone griddles and grills that Walmart are selling in the outdoor area. I am impressed with the quality of these tongs. I like how they lock from the top. I have not used the tongs for any scrapping, but I can see from the quality of the blades that scrapping will not be an issue with these tongs. But, I'll stick to my other tools for scrapping, for now, because these tongs look so good that I do not want anything to mess up the look.

I was worried my husband wouldn't like these, since he normally uses the big, gnarly ones. He was pleasantly surprised about how easy these were to use. He likes the straight edge on the end to scrape food off the grill, and they are the perfect size for his hamburgers. I'd recommend these to anyone.

These Blackstone tongs have a good size paddle-like tong grips. They work better than using a hamburger spatula to flip over and serve burgers (no losing a burger between the grates into the grill this way). They have a tight grip on hot dogs, chicken, corn on the cob... Makes it easy to keep control of food while grilling. These tongs aren't super long so if you have a large, deep grill I'd be careful trying to get to food at the back if there are flames in front. But being this length allows to use them at my kitchen stove without an awkward reach. I only gave four stars because the end piece that you pull\push to lock\unlock the tongs was bent. At first I thought it was a design flaw until I saw the picture on the packaging. I was nervous trying to bend it to the proper position that it would break because it's sort of thin. I couldn't straighten it all the way and didn't really want to try further and weaken it.

The clip at the end that locks %26 unlocks these are as flimsy as a wet piece of paper. I've used these once and the clip's metal on mine is almost as thin as a razor blade. Just thin %26 cheap!!
