What a great deal on radio and speakers! I replaced my old Pioneer system because it didn't have Bluetooth. This Blaupunkt Omaha gave me what I needed. Easy to install, feature/functions fairly easy to access, not too many buttons, just enough. Speakers are good for their size
This is a very good product for the price. It looks simple but very elegant at the same time. The sound is no "Kenwood", but is very competitive and it has a nice power to it. The speakers were a plus, I did not need them but they are nice to have just in case and I could not find a better deal than this.
One Spectacular Radio/Stereo ! Very affordable .I installed myself and saved money by using original stock radio mount bracket. And purchased the after market wire harness /wire connectors and crimp tool. By mounting in original mount bracket making it theft proof than a basic kit. Sounds perfect in FM/AM receptions and C.D. player sounds clear ,great. Extra Blaupunkt speakers bundle added is great, although i have Blaupunkt speakers (4) installed in my ford explorer anyway , extras are always good to have..it has other features also; Bluetooth phone capabilities and SD card file port reader. The remote control works perfect and the digital lighted numbers are small for me to read at a distance so remote is very handy. I recommend this radio for excellent sound quality and/or a basic/affordable replacement for a stock car radio. Will be purchasing a different Blaupunkt car stereo system for a second vehicle i have also.
I installed the unit in my pontoon. The display is easily readable and simple to operate. The wiring harness was well organized and labeled which made hooking up speakers easy. The 35watts/channel makes my pontoon rock!
it reads cd, plays mp3 audio through usb reader and micro sd cards. also has Aux input and Bluetooth. great price and has 2 speaker including wire and a remote.
I used this combo in my 1998 Jeep cherokee to replace the radio and rear speakers. Let me start off by saying the speakers actually sound really good, they have decent bass for what they are and the treble sounds great. Was very impressed by the speakers for the price. The radio also impressed me very much. I havent tried the CD player yet, but the Bluetooth and usb hookups sound great and very clear. With the volume at max I think it could be a little louder but it is what it is. The radio sounds decent as well, but the reception goes in and out a lot compared to my old stock radio so not too happy with that. Overall for the price of this combo Im impressed and would purchase again.
Notwithstanding the German tricolor on the box and the wording "Established 1924" and "Germany", this radio and speakers were made in China. Blaupunkt used to be a high-end maker of car radios. Works well in house with a wall wart, with Alexa on aux input. Good variety of inputs. Radio reception is only fair. 360 watts max is a fantasy like all car audio but it's loud enough. I bought enclosures for the speakers to use them indoors, and a car antenna with a Motorola plug, and a male-male cable for the aux in. Remote control arrived broken. Not covered under ematic's warranty but Walmart replaced it by mailing an entire radio, which I mailed back using their label with the broken remote. Remote must be aimed from low to work, which wouldn't be a problem in a real car. BlueTooth is not Alexa compatible. Works when phone is close, again OK for the intended purpose in a car. Like most modern car audio, the power comes in on Batt, and Ign is only a signal. This means it can't be hacked to preserve memory with a super capacitor or a rechargeable battery. I had a much longer review but it won't post.
it would be nice if they sent you a wiring harness with it since you can't get one anywhere else that will plug into the back of the unit in the same configuration. I'm sending it back now that I wasted my day off on it. Still have to box it and ship it. I'm going to buy a Kenwood, Alpine or Pioneer.
Radio is crap. Only two speaker outputs work. Remote is hit and miss. Volume is only dependable feature. Will never buy a Blaujunk again. It's in my work truck and will eventually go to the scrapyard with it. First time I ever had a auto stereo this bad.
I bought this system in May. As of the end of August the cd player stopped working. Past 90 days so it can't be returned. It and walmart deserve zero stars.
