i use this on my nose more than my lips and its a lifesaver. whenever i get allergies or a cold, my nose gets so chapped and irritated, just using balms doesn't feel like theyre moisturizing, every lotion burns going on. the first time i bought this to try on my nose, i nearly cried from relief. i frequently recommend it to anyone around me with an irritated nose from the sniffles. the cooling sensation is so soothing! and i love that the texture is more like a lotion than a balm. an oily lotion for sure, but not super waxy like balms are.

I was completely wrong. I used this on my son's lips and mouth. He seems to get dry red lips and the same at the corners of his mouth when the weather changes. This medicated lip ointment worked wonders. I applied it right before he went to bed. When he woke up it looked much better. The redness was gone. I applied more before he went to school. By the time he got home. You couldn't really tell. I did apply it to his lips for the next few days as it was rainy and cooler. It cleared completely in 5 days. It usually takes 7 to 10 days with others that I have used. I highly recommend this lip ointment!!!!!!!!

I have used this product for many years to get rid of occasional outbreaks of cold sores in/around my nose. With just a few applications a day it clears them up in about two days. So much better than a week or more of dealing with painful and itchy sores!

I get HORRIBLE horrible cold sores and I have been using the ointment blistex for like 20+ years now. It is a staple in my house, I buy it in bulk just so I have one SOMEWHERE when I get a cold sore. I have never found another med that gives INSTANT relief once you put it on. Most other projects I see are variants of lip balms or petroleum jelly style and help with protecting, but they don't give that immediate relief. This one makes my lip immediately stop itching and helps keep me from constantly touching my cold sore. I legitimately buy it in bulk whenever I start feeling the lip tingle of a cold sore and I recommend it to everyone for cold sore/split lip/cracked lip relief! I can't overstate how much I love this med, I don't think I could handle cold sore season without it!

I had really cracked lips that really hurt, but then my dad bought this and it fixed it with in like 5 minutes. I don't really enjoy menthol and stuff like that but it wasn't bad compared to how much I usually hate it, especially because it made the pain stop.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great lipbalm that has the icy feeling that Blistex products have. It keeps my lips hydrated for a while, but then my lips feel dry again. Other lipbalms have kept my lips hydrated longer which is why I gave it 4 stars.
