Blue Buffalo Tastefuls Adult Cat Hairball Control Dry Food, Chicken & Brown Rice, 5lb

What can I say, my cat loves Blue Buffalo cat food. It costs a little more but it's worth it. It's not full of junk. The first ingredient is always the protein, (Chicken, Fish etc.) no mystery meat parts. I always buy the hairball recipe to help prevent the barfing up of hairballs. It's not maxed out with Corn meal and such. Just healthy ingredients. My cat has never refused to eat any flavor they make like he refuses other brands. He is a Blue Buffalo Boy.

To be honest, my cat is outrageously unpredictable and meaner than any barn cat I raised on the farm that I grew up on as a kid. This animal literally bites and claws literally for meat and bone (no nibbles and certainly no gentle scratches), leaving my poor, former roommate of five years, still covered in permanent scars. You think I wouldn't be too particular about his food given his personality; however, there are three things about this cat I have yet to share: first, he was my adult daughter's pet. She passed away when he was just about a year old, so, of course, I took him in since she never married and had no children. To be fair, I had no idea what I was in for! Second, if I did give him up to animal control he's simply way, way too mean. No one would adopt him, so it would be a guaranteed death sentence without question. Finally, he's one of God‘s creatures. ‘Nuff said. Years before, when my daughter was still living with me, we had a family cat, Max. Max wandered on to our front porch as a kitten one evening as I got home from work and frankly he never left. In fact, he marched up our apartment steps in front of us, flopped down at the landing, and flipped to his tail as if to say, “I'm home!” I'm pretty certain I fed Max the same brand. He grew big and strong and, at a solidly muscled 20 pounds without an ounce of fat, he lived till he was just a week or so from being 19 years old. Sweet, kind and gentle. Best cat ever. I noticed right away when I brought my daughter‘s cat home he had a super touchy digestive system. Of course, some of that could've been anxiety from being in a new home with somebody he barely knew, much less the fact that the woman he thought was his mom was suddenly gone. I was getting concerned he was barely keeping anything down even though I was feeding him the remainder of the bag that my daughter had bought for him before she passed. Honestly, after the first week, I decided he had at least enough time to where his stomach should've settled if it had been an anxiety thing. That's when I decided a food upgrade would probably help and since ol' Max had lived to almost 19, if it was good enough for Max, it certainly must be good enough for Chester. The minute I began introducing this food his “hairball” vomiting attacks dwindled to nothing within 3–4 days. It's been that way ever since. I occasionally give him wet food, and “tube treats,” but insofar as his main meals go, I serve Chester this without fail. His health has been excellent these past seven years and, knock on wood, I'm hoping this food will keep him in good health for another 10 years to come. since I'm an older woman on a fixed income, it would be nice if it was a little easier on my budget, especially with our economy the way it is right now. But this is one thing I will not scrimp on. My two pets will always come first on my budget. I just need to survive him! Say a prayer for me Lol!

We love this Tastefuls for our 2 cats. One is an orange tabby and the other is a ragdoll. We have never had issue with hair balls with either of them. The cats love it and we love not having to clean up hair ball puke all over the house. Highly recommend.

I'm trying to buy the best food I can afford for my cats. The cats seem to like it, so that's a good sign to me. But cat's are different and can be picky. If you're trying to eliminate corn meal as the first or second ingredient, this is the food.

My cat loves the flavor not only that but it really helps with the hair balls I will not buy anything but Blue Buffalo tastefuls hair ball. your cat will love it. 😊😊👍👍

My cat seem to like this cat food. I bought a different brand just to see and they turned their noses up to it. They do like this. They prefer the chicken.

Having hairball problems. Switched from sensative stomach to try to relieve hairball constipation . Will be glad to re-evaluate after couple weeks to see how it works. She likes the taste.

Switched to this Blue Buffalo Tastefuls hairball control and the cats didn't hesitate — bowls were clean and attitudes stayed pleasant. Coats look good, digestion's behaving, and fewer hairballs showing up where they're not invited. It does what it claims without upsetting the household hierarchy. Cats are happy. Floors are cleaner. That's a win. Wyoming-approved.

My cat LOVES Blue Buffalo dry cat food! He becomes excited when I call him to eat. The food has caused a 360-degree reversal in his quality of life. Other brands caused him to be aggressive, panic, and irritable. This food is the closest to food for humans you'll come.

my cat likes this food better than any of the other foods i have given him to try. with his furball and sensitive stomach , i have found this food has worked alot better his issues. i also give him 4 pet honesty hairball medicine treats daily. 2 in am and 2 at pm.. nothing else i have fed him works as well as these 2 things.. he used to weaze and gag 5 to 10 times a day .. now he does it once a week sometimes.
