If you love Korean barbeque, you're going to love these portable nuts. Quick snack, tasty, and portable.
Really bummed that this flavor appears to be being discontinued as of 9 April 2025. My apologies, everyone, for falling in love with this flavor because I have the 'kiss of death' for products and the moment something becomes my favorite, the companies stop making it. I have a list of nearly 25 grocery items that apparently my love has killed over the last few decades. Again, my apologies. That's two products killed just this week, the other one was Fleetwood Coffee k-cups.
Love almonds and have had the pleasure of trying a lot of Blue Diamonds' various flavors, so of course when I saw they were out with a couple new flavors this summer, I immediately placed them in my cart. I even got another Korean BBQ one for my family and when we tried it, we were instantly blown away with the fresh crunch and savory flavor. Sure it's gimmicky, but Blue Diamond did a decent job recreating the flavor profile of Korean BBQ. I hope they continue this flavor because its a new favorite in my family! We are all for adding new Asian flavors to snacks, so maybe introduce Thai Curry flavor almonds next?
Absolutely delicious. Sweet and spicy and tangy. Devastating i cannot find anything bigger than the tiny cans which aren't worth buying for me. I can only eat low carb and im so sad.
I search high and low for these. I buy them in a big 45 oz bag whenever I see them. Please make them easier to find!!! They are my absolute favorite snacking item.
The perfect umami flavored almonds. Then virtually unavailable. Can't find the larger 40oz bags anywhere in stores or online. Even the 6oz cans are difficult to find.
I can't put my finger on it, but there's some flavor in there that's really pronounced and just tastes bad. Not like the product is expired, but just not tasty. Weird aftertaste. This is the only flavor of Blue Diamond Bold almonds that I do not care for.
I didn't understand why I received Korean BBQ Almonds when the almonds I ordered said Chocolate and chill. If you click on the description the picture is of Korean BBQ, which isn't bad but it's not what I ordered or what is presented.
I don't know who in their right mind thought that this combination of flavors was a good idea, I don't know about you all, but when I go to a KBBQ restaurant, I don't think of wasabi and rye bread. but that's what these silly little almonds taste like. Absolute dreck. I thought that a KBBQ almond would be at LEAST a little bit sweet, but no. it's just wasabi and sadness. A mild and lame spice blend to boot. cannot describe my disappointment upon first tasting.
This is the most horrible flavor I have ever eaten. The almonds smell bad, the taste was worse. it was a mix of strong flavors which I didn't even know how to describe. I had a few and I couldn't take it anymore. I was very close to throw them into the garbage. But being someone who don't waste food, I rinsed off the flavors in water!! This was how badly they taste, and I felt so compelling to write you this feedback to let you know this new flavor was really bad. These don't taste anything like Korean BBQ, and I love Korean food.
