I bought this for my mother. She buys premade bags of salad. After watching her use a collander to wash them. I ordered this. The main thing, it was the perfect size for her. The first time she used she it was great. It was very easy to use. It works fast, also it cleans easy. She absolutely loves this. No more soggy salad! Great item especially for the price.

Salad Spinner
WAAAY TOO SMALL!! Photos of salad spinner are very deceiving! Looks MUCH larger in photo! Very disappointed as it was to be a Birthday gift for someone but I'd be embarrassed to gift it. Looks like it's for a child's play kitchen toy!

Poor quality, spinner knob comes off in the palm of your hand while in the middle of a spin which also sounds like creaking plastic and the basket doesn't spin fast enough to remove the excess from lettuce..a bad buy even at $12.00...before shipping and tax....

Not worth the cost.
Very flimsy outer basket. broke the side wall on the 2nd use. I'm not a heavy handed lady, the construction is just very flimsy.
