This is a decent chopper if you want to dice an onion. The chopper came with 2 different blades for chopping and 4 for cheese and shredding. Plus a potato peeler. I did read the reviews and decided to give it a benefit of doubt. I did have to slice my sweet potatoes VERY thin, put them on the blades, and take a meat mallet to the top in order for it to chop them. Thankfully, I did not brake any blades doing this. I gave it 3 stars for holding up. This chopper is decent if your not using it very often and only for onions and peppers. You will not be able to mince, only dice or larger. However, the potato peeler works like a dream and slides the peels off like butter. Would I recommend, no.

After the first use, here are some take aways: 1. Very cheap feeling, lots of plastic parts.. what do you expect for the price though right? 2. Blades are not very sturdy. Bent after chopping a carrot up. (The carrot was pre sliced into a smaller piece and still bent the chopper blade) 3. The lid doesn't seem to fit snug onto the container. Also, no instruction manual.

I hand washed and went to dice onions, I sliced thinly. The blades came off! seriously I only cut a green pepper and onions. and the top does not secure to the bottom so you have to hold it on. Very flimsly plastic but it was 12.00 so I was willing to deal of it worked.

I rarely leave reviews, but I genuinely hope this saves someone else from wasting time and money. This product LOOKS amazing in the pictures, but the real experience is the complete opposite. The large cubing blade got so tightly wedged into the housing that we literally had to use pliers to remove it. Not joking—pliers. The top pressing plate bends as you push down, which causes everything to jam and crush instead of making clean cuts. Even soft vegetables like onions required so much force that the whole unit flexed. The hinge feels weak, the pieces don't align properly, and the blades don't lock in/out smoothly. Once food gets trapped in the grid, clean-up becomes an ordeal because you can't separate the parts easily without risking breaking it. I returned it immediately after one use because it felt like it would snap at any moment. I really wish someone had warned me, so I'm warning you: If you want actual clean dicing, easy blade removal, or durability, this is NOT the product. Save your money—this design is great in theory but fails badly in execution.

One time use item. Used it and was not too impressed but the killer was the fact it plastic warped and melted in the top rack of dishwasher and blades bent as well. Cheap and poor quality. The plastic and blades were hard to remove from the chopper assembly.

very poor quality, i've had a few type choppers - they're plastic - i don't expect much for the price point - the last ones i've had at least lasted a couple of years - this one - can't even use with the basket as the top won't fit …then i had to fight to cut a tomato - then the onions - blade separated

The handle and blade broke after the first use of chopping an onion that I had cut into 4 pieces! This is a terrible product, the blade was stuck and required such force to remove the handle broke. Save Your Money. This item is from Temu for $4
