an absolute must have for your snake buddy. set it and forget it ,heat pads can cause real damage to you reptiles and this thermostat is awesom at heat regulation..

I've been owned by a leopard gecko for 6 years, so I've been through a few heating pads. Some have lasted as short as 6 months. This is the best I've used. It heats properly, is accurate, and has no problem adhering to the bottom of the glass tank. I only buy ones that have a thermostat and I'm glad I bought this one.
I purchased bc my tortoise needed a bigger heat pad for the winter. It's working as advertised. I love the control figure. The advertisement is truthful, it's not a radiating heat, but works none the less. And great price.
I got this for my hermit crab tank and it's great, I would definitely get a bigger size depending on how many gallons your tank is.
I need to keep my hermit crab tank between 75-80°. My tank is 55 gallons. This pad is not big enough to keep the tank warm without having to use foil on the back of the tank. At most the tank gets to 77° during the day and drops to 74-75 at night. I do love the thermostat it came with though. If you have a smaller tank this heat mat would work good
I'm currently using this for my red tail boa's setup and so far it is all working great from the thermostat to the heating mat. At this point in time I would recommend
the product was great the problem was i ordered 3 paid for 3. 3 was on the shipping ticket but only 2 in the box
I have bought 2 more before this one and they were perfectly fine but this one is used and someone had stuck to their terrarium and removed and returned. now i have a heating pad with half of the adhesive tape ripped off of it. pure crap to send out something that i cant even stick to my terrarium
