I got these heating mats not for seeds, but because I started some ginger plants from tubers. Ginger loves warm weather, but they needed transplanting. It's still too cold outdoors so I put them in a pot and kept them warm with a heating mat. My ginger has been thriving by the patio door where they will be until warmer weather arrives. They have doubled in height since I put them on the mat.

i'm glad to say that those mats are awesome. i'm currently germinating seeds and the mat helps tremendously. it keeps the seedlings andbpods warm enough to help them grow

Heated up very fast, I also bought the seedling starter trays with the domes, these heating mats have already started the plants humidifying! Great product

I have several of these mats in several different sizes in my basement growing room, and they are great and help with germination of my little baby seeds!

Two heat mats! I use one to proof yeast and raise dough for baking. And the other is getting seedlings ready for spring planting. Temperature-wise the rooms I use these in are around 58F, it being February. The mats stay around 80F.

This was my first year of propagating seeds for the garden and I needed seed heating mats. These worked great. I definitely would recommend these and purchase these for myself again.

I have been using this product for a week now and my seeds have sprouted and most of them are already an inch tall! Having a heat pad has made a huge difference in the amount of time it takes to germinate. I bought two packs and rotate my trays. So far, they are working great!

The seedlings did start to grow with these heat mats, but there is no temperature control. If it could be turned up that might make it a quicker process.

It's hard to recommend a product that doesn't live up to expectations, but I'm also not going to recommend it because I don't like the way I set it up. I have no idea what temperature it's set to. It would be very helpful to adjust the temperature though. I put it under my pepper plants and none of them survived.
