Seller sent me a timer with the remote battery dead and package appeared to have been previously opened. Given I needed it right away, I had to purchase new batteries which offset the sale savings. The programming is rather unusual, where the timer part is based on dusk-dawn control, requiring one to use the remote to control when the lights are on or off when not wanting the dusk to dawn feature (see picture of instructions). Had I enough time to set up lights before a snowstorm and very cold weather came in, I would have returned the timer and purchased a different one where the timer is on/off for a period of choice and then automatically repeats daily. I guess you get what you pay for but would have liked more information up front.
