These work well. The range seems wider that the Hyper Tough outlets. The remotes use A23 batteries. Use short 1 foot extensions so that you can save space or place these in a location where they otherwise would not fit.

Perfect for having various holiday lights, lamps, etc on a remote. Do most things on timers but these are especially handy for year round items like lamps and fans that you want to control from your easy chair.
