You can set the plugs using the Cync app or google home. Both recongnize the plugs as soon as you power them on. You have more control doing it with the Cync app and after that, pairing it with Google Home (is just 2 clicks). You can give voice commands and all of that and the response is instantaneous. great buy!

Delivery was super fast. It arrived next day without having to pay for expedited shipping. I was looking for a replacement for WeMo outlets since the cloud service was going to be discontinued. These outlets are more compact and fairly easy to set up. They are matter compatible. Scanned the QR code for each outlet from my Google Assistant app on my mobile device. It added to my home and then had to add to a room. Kept the same name which kept my automation working. On the pricier side but was worth it to me as I've trying many others before the WeMo.

This plugged help me link my Amazon Alexa with my older GE smart bulbs that inly had bluetooth capabilities. I only needed one plug to connect over ten bulbs. This saved a lot of money since I didnt have to purchase several new wifi versions of the bulbs! I do wish it had more than ine plug on it but I can see why it only has one.

I've used many smart plugs over the years and can honestly say this is the best one out there! It's so easy to setup directly in the Home app on my iPhone and immediately integrates into the rest of my smart home. This plug connects without having any hassle of downloading third party apps or waiting/praying that it will connect—it just works! The other thing thats great about this smart plug is that it's relatively small compared to ones I've purchased in the past. The response time is phenomenal and is always reliable. I've been buying these to replace older smart plugs and have started giving these as gifts as well. 10/10 recommend for anyone wanting an easy and reliable smart plug.

I was surprised that the price for this particular item, rather than the typical trend of decreasing in price, was actually more expensive than the ones that I bought last year.

Pairs well with the CYNC app! I also have GE smart bulbs and the switch works great just like my lights especially when making a schedule to turn on and off!

Works as advertised very useful

I've purchased 7 of these total (2x 3 packs and a single) and they work great provided they connect. I have had 1 of the 7 that does not work at all; it simply will not connect. GE support was less than supportive and only suggested the standard Google search results which did not help.

Could not get this smart plug to turn on using the app scheduler. We could turn it on and off manually in the app but when using the scheduler it would not turn on but it if you manually turned it on the scheduler would turn it off. Did a couple of factory resets with no success. I have installed many smart devices. I suspected a hardware problem so I returned it.
