Seems to be perfect for painting landscapes. Light for holding long hours. Not too stiff, not too soft, just right!

I haven't had it that long and so have not had a chance yet to actually paint with it, but checking out the bristles and handle it does seem well made, the handle has a nice feel to it and the bristles seem like they should work well. I had done a fair amount of research before buying so I felt confident about it's good reviews.

It is a wonderful brush! I would recommend it and buy it again!

I've been painting (and selling paintings) using the Wet on Wet technique for some time and experimented with different brushes, expensive, cheap and in between. I have to say that these may not be the best-suited brushes for all styles of painting, but they are fantastic for beating paint into your canvas in the WoW technique. These are Natural hair brushes which stand up to the abuse you're going to put them through in this method. They hold paint well and the take a good beating in the cleaning process. Yes, like all brushes, they can and will shed bristles - If you find a brush that doesn't, and can afford it, but that one if it suits your purpose. The best thing about these brushes are that they DONT break the bank, they are good quality for the WoW technique, and they are very stiff, which is again, very good for the technique. As in anything, use the right tool for what YOU ... and if that is to paint a technique that needs a sturdy brush, this is it. You can see several Bob Ross brushes in my very used workspace photo -- They don't get to stray far.
