Bob's Red Mill is one of my go-to brands for granola due to being gluten-free without a lot of unhealthy ingredients. Just add milk and enjoy for breakfast. It can also be savored plain, right out of the bag, as a snack.
It's a bit pricey for the amount but, I do love this brand. I order my groceries online then, pick it up. I purchase from a local Walmart but, they don't carry it on the shelf but, if I order online they have it; not sure why that is?? I love it in my yogurt or, just as a snack.
Very tasty with almond milk, would work well as a dry snack too. I want to get more to try with yogurt! Little pricey tho.
Omg so so good better than Natures Valley not as hard. I wanted more yogurt and you don't need to worry about creating a dental emergency
Get this while you can it is so delicious. Not sure if it's offered year round but it worth buying more than one. It is not easy to find. Love it. All my kids took a bag home with them. We add it to yogurt, or just eat it plane. it is really that good.
I love this gluten free, dairy free, tree nut free cereal. Having a lot of food allergens, it's wonderful to find a food I can not only eat but that I love to eat. I have systemic mastocytosis so I have a lot of allergies. It's great paired with dairy free milk like Karma (non protein) vanilla flax milk which I wish my local walmart carried so I could buy it weekly like out of state walmarts carry. I definitely recommend this to people with or without food allergies. Digests well also. Good without milk as well.
This granola is delicious.
I have bought many Bobs Red Mill products over the years and like them. However, this recent purchase disappointed me. The package was 11 ounces, whereas other granola packages (and possibly my previous buys of this same granola) have not been that light. Different Bob's Red Mill packages I still have in my pantry vary from 14 ounces down through 12 ounces and with this purchase only 11 ounces. I just wish Bob's (and *other* manufacturers) would simply raise the price instead of cutting down the volume/weight of their products. I understand inflation, but now one of my favorite products now is in a stingy size, requiring me to buy more packages, thereby paying more for *packaging* costs than the product itself. That means that Bob's (and others) are quietly covering up price increases by supplying less product. That displeases me and, likely other customers.
This was supposed to be a package of six we got one package for $13.99. Absolutely horrible experience now we have to go return it never again.
I normally love this granola however I just experienced a grave disappointment. I received a batch of 6 and in opening one bag I realized right that the granola was super chunky which was different. because their normally. grainy not chunky or in big chunks. Then in eating a few I was immediately alarmed like yukkky what is this. It had a weird kinda burned taste and the texture was absolutely hard and just bad. I've been purchasing this product for a while and never had this experience. I then checked the experience date and noticed that the date window was to close to present date and I knew that might have been the issue based on previous purchases in which the expiration date window way later than present date. So buyer beware and do pay attention to the expiration window in purchasing.
