Navitas Organics Cacao Powder, 8.0 Oz

Purchased this with 3 other products to create a very healthy FAT BURNING SMOOTHIE that I take every morning to rev my 50 year old metabolism. I also add wheatgrass, spirulna, matcha green tea and an excellent protein powder and I am off to an amazing start to my day. The cocoa makes it taste rich and chocolaty without a chalky texture or taste. I also add chocolate almond milk. A must for everyone to try! Everyone at work notices a difference and wants to know where I get my energy from.

This is the only cacao powder I get. It makes good everything, cookies, brownies, ice cream, etc. Can be a bit hard to mix into milk, add a little milk, mix add a little more. Almost like your making a wet but not runny paste. When smooth and chocolately then add rest of milk or whatever liquid your using. Mixes into other batter recipies well. With ice cream I mix the cacao and sugar then slowly add the milk/cream to make a smooth mix before adding the rest of the liquid so all the chocolate mixes in and there's no clumps.

The main reason for buying Navitas Organics over other brands is that this company takes great pains to create a product free of cadmium. Cocoa from south of the border contains significant cadmium. Belgian cocoa does not but is much more expensive. I will continue to use Navitas Organics cocoa once or twice a day because cocoa improves cerebral blood flow.

This is my favorite kind and Wal-Mart has the best price right now. I recommend cacao over cocoa because the processing of cocoa removes most of the antioxidants that your body needs. in other words, I believe this product is good for you.

This is real cacao, the same taste and quality as the cacao beans of Nicaragua. I drink it as a regular juice add a little bit of water, milk, sugar cane and a little bit of cinnamon. Or chocolate pudding with greek yogurt and chia seeds.

Great product ~ wonderful quality for chocolate lovers like me ... makes great, "no guilt" hot chocolate without all the chemical junk found in cocoa mixes!

This Navitas Naturals product is the real thing. It is the pure Cacao Powder with no additives, sugar or chalky taste. I put about a tablespoon in a mug, add hot water and then add a teaspoon of raw organic honey. Excellent heart healthy drink that takes the place of the processed hot chocolate that I used to consume, great product.

Nowhere, where did I see on the details that it had a warning that causes cancer? I just noticed that when I received the package It's expensive $ 28 some dollars I thought I had finally found the cacao that I needed. I wonder if there's one out there that does not have a cancer warning on its packaging?

Read this and back of the NAVITAS so called organic cacao. When I was ordering I did not pay attention to the WARNING on the back of the package, see the pictures, CONSUMING THIS PRODUCT CAN EXPOSE YOU TO CHEMICALS INCLUDING LEAD!! USDA ORGANIC??!! KOSHER??!! but dangerous to consume . I guess business comes first in both cases above .

The one I received did not have the same ingredients that I asked for only 116 potassium 1mg Iron no mg of magnesium showed. Should have been 300 mg potassium 2mg Iron plus magnesium.
