This will be the third summer purchasing Bonnie brand live plants. They are always nice sized. Healthy and strong. Carefully packed for shipping, and arrive quickly. We live on the Gulf Coast and usually arrive in 2, or 3 days after ordering. The Better Boy tomatoes that just arrived had alot of roots, and are tall, and lots of stems. Bonnie plants are very dependable.
im so excited to grow these tomatoes. im hoping they are super sweet. the plants were dry upon arrival but perked up with a good watering. after planting, they started growing right away, so i have high hopes for these girls. id i can add later, I'll come back and rell how the tomatoes 🍅 are after ripe. hpw plentiful and how they taste.
Very nice healthy looking plants, however, they were too large for the green plastic shipping container they were in. They have been out of their shipping container for 24 hrs. now, in bright, indirect light and have still not straightened out. There appears to be breakage on the main stems where it had been bent to fit in the containers. Please start securing the dirt in the pits better with tape and or plastic wrap, as there was dirt spilled all over in the containers and inside the box.
How can Bonnie the seed and plant people not package these plants in a way that they survive? If I had known they'd be delivered FEDEX I would've cancelled the order. At least if it's a local delivery there's a 50/50 chance I'll get them delivered alive. I'm utterly disgusted with them. I'll not be ordering more Bonnie plants and will demand a refund.
I was thrilled to get the plants, but they began wilting and dying almost immediately. I've reordered
got here completely dry and Bent over I don't think they can recover certainly not what I want I'm going to remember this why take a nice plant then force it in a container it has to be bent in half to fit inside I don't like dealing with trying to save plants that don't have a chance im. never buying from this place again
I ordered eight tomato plants. The Cherokee purple are the only ones I have an issue with. They arrived nearly dead and only 2 inches tall. Ridiculous. I would like to do a return but I can't drive and I have no printer so I guess I just have to eat the cost on this mess.
THESE ARE ABSOLUTELY NOT THE SIZE THAT THEY ARE SELLING. A COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY.. THIS IS THE SECOND YEAR THAT THESE HAVE BEEN SO LITTLE.. THE PLANTS ARE 100% NOT THE ADVERTIZED SIZES. THEY DO HAVE GREENERY ATLEAST. I DEFINATELY WOULD NOT USE AS A GIFT . IT WOULD SEEM LIKE A JOKE ! THE STEMS ARE BENT AND SO SMALL. IT'S CRAZY THEY SELL THESE AS THIS SIZE . I ORDERED MULTIPLE PLANTS AND ALL OF THEM ARE TINY. I WAS SO EXCITED A THESE ARE MY FAVORITE TOMATOES. BUT THEY ARE SOOO SMALL. THE HEALTH IS FINE. SOME HARDLY HAD ANY SOIL. THEY ARE GROWING. BARELY.
Both plants' leaves swiveled and died within two days despite watering as recommended—loss of money and time.
Arrived wilted and promptly started dying. I have raised tomatoes for years. I thought a little water to wet the soil and some sunshine would perk them up. Nope.
