Bose Surround Sound Speakers 700 for Bose Soundbars, White

I set up these Bose 700 Surround speakers with a Bose 900 Soundbar hard wired to a Bose 700 Bass Module. I used the Bose App and the Adaptiq device to optimize the sound for a room approximately 15” by 20” with relatively heavy furnishings, including a Persian carpet. There was no TV input. I use this combination of speakers for music only, typically classical, jazz and 70s pop and rock. To test out the new configuration I used a playlist selected to highlight the properties of each speaker. This included: Sting, A 1000 Years; Abilene, Grow Again; Hans Zimmer, soundtracks from Batmen, Gladiator and Inception; Lara Somogyi, Acceptances; Bach, Concerto for Four Harpsichords III Allegro. My listening position was non central and closer to the Rear Speakers. The speaker settings were as follows: Bose 900 - centre and bass 40, height and treble 30; Bass Module 40; Bose 700 rear speakers 100. During the test period I used the Bose App to switch the Rear Surround speakers and the Bass Module on and off intermittently and to turn the Dialogue mode on and off. Finally I repeated the entire operation with the speakers on the 42” Bose speaker stands . CONCLUSION: the overall listening experience was exceptional, particularly with tracks coded in Dolby Atmos and/or Lossless which were almost totally immersive even at low to medium volumes. The Bose 700 rear speakers, while expensive, greatly enhanced the listening experience, even for soft solo piano pieces (Alice Sara Ott, Distant Music). I have no regrets with my purchase. Evaluating the impact of the speaker stands was less objective, but it was my impression that the added height and variable positioning of the stands added to the experience.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have got 700 sound bar, base module & surround speakers. AMAZING!!!!!!!! Music is on par - if not better than my old floor standing speakers. Base module makes ya bum vibrate in ya chair. The surround sound ability whilst watching movies or even normal TV is assume. The wife is happy because there is no large speakers or stacked separates messing up the room. 700 system is so unobtrusive.... I love it with a passion.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Went in to the store to purchase the Bose Surround Speakers, while chatting to the sales rep he mentioned they had just made these compatible with the Soundbar 500. He mentioned these had 360 sound did not even listen to them in the shop just brought them and got them home. The sound is INCREDIBLE !!. It has transformed the sound in the living room when listening to music and movies, even normal TV soaps are different. Set up was ridiculously easy using the app. Got them in the silver so you hardly notice them. One thing to note yes these are wireless but they do need power cables to pic up the signals, each speaker has its own power box. I would say that this could be the only down side if some how they could combine this into one and have separate cables running to each speaker this would only improve the product. Looking forward to getting the Base Module 500 in a few months.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had these speakers for a week or so now and they are a superb add-on to my existing soundbar 500 setup. We are a movie mad family and these speakers really do put you in the heart of the action. Setup is a breeze, use the Bose Connect + app just as you do with the sub and soundbar. it took me about 5 mins to have the speakers linked up. Best of all no wires to link up to the soundbar, just power them up and away you go. I would definitely recommend running the ADAPIQ calibration to make sure everything is optimal for your room. Once that's done it's just a case of sit back and enjoy the movies! The extra experience these little beauties give is quite amazing. Movies come to life and the sound ambiance is just brilliant. Action movies are simply turned up a notch, it feels like the sound fills the room. With no plastic in sight, these speakers really are premium quality. I would highly recommend to anyone with a compatible soundbar, you won't be disappointed!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've owned these speakers for just over a week now and have them on a pair of the Omni Jewel floor stands which i bought from Bose. The sound difference is unbelievable from just using my Soundtouch 300 to adding these. with the new 360 sound it does really enhance the listening experience from either watching movies and tv to listening to music the difference it makes is well worth purchasing them. Setup was easy and quick using the app and re calibrating the system, the only thing i have noticed is they don't come on when you cast to your tv over wifi from you tube for example. They are compact but don't let the size fool you, very powerful speakers and look really nice. I have recommended these to all my friends who want the best listening experience and will soon purchase the Bose Bass Module 700 to complete my setup.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tall and slim very stylish looking finish but surprisingly powerful audio output. Combined with the Bose 700 Bass and sound bar this bundle is the closest you will get to a 5.1 surround system without all the clutter of wires. The only cables visible are the ones connecting to the dedicated power/ wireless receiver for each speaker. The receiver can be hidden away but still seamlessly connects to the soundbar to transmit the signals. Not yet had any problems with loss of any signal between the speakers and the sound bar. Easily connects quickly to the soundbar using the Bose Music App. The app also allows for adjustment to the room layout to give that true surround experience. The sound experience was already great with the Bass and sound bar combination, but this addition adds that extra depth to the home movie experience. Playing music on this system is truly immersing crisp and clear. These speakers are also compatible not only with the Bose 700 but also the 500 and the sound Touch 300. So, you can enjoy the latest technology with legacy equipment with ease. Definitely worth an investment.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Theese bose 700 surround speakers  are very neat  in size and will fit into  any surroundings as they are very stylish but could be put somewhere  discreetly  due to the small size.  & with them being wireless you can situate them anywhere in your room . Set up is very easy via the bose app and will only take you a few minutes  to do . They work with bose the 500 & 700  sound bar and will add a great deal of added pleasure to bring out the very best with your soundbar .you don't get any interference  with  speakers but what you do get is a massive difference as the quality of them is fantastic and what you expect from bose   as well as hearing crystal clear real sounds without distortion . Things you have never heard before from listening to music or watching a film the sounds are totally impressive . The difference in adding the surround  speakers  will make your head turn as the sounds echo around the room & watching a secret/ creepy movies makes the hairs on your head stand on end as you hear sounds that you have never heard before  in a realistic way . Footsteps coming everywhere or spiders crawling & snakes slithering around i have  had quiet a few fights when watching movies in the last few weeks  whilst watching one film a clap of thunder came out & I dropped my drink in shock.  The sound was so sharp & real .It's as if your actually there in the situation .!!  Also listening to music through the surround bar & speakers bring your music to life as you have Alexa & blue tooth on the bose 700  teamed up with theese bose 700 wireless speakers you have a winning team  from both style & quality bringing out the very best with the system . I bought the surround 700 speakers about 10 days ago to add to the Ultra Soundbar and the Sub woofer 700. The delivery process was impeccable and adding the speakers to the soundbar and subwoofer is very convenient. The Bose android app works great and is very easy to operate. The only reason for 4 stars as opposed to five stars is that the speaker power/output is relatively low. To get the surround sound impact, these speakers have to be cranked up to the maximum setting of +100 on the app. While this is subjective, speakers in the soundbar whether for the treble, bass setting or the height speakers and the sub woofer can handle most audio tracks with a setting of either 0 or up to +20 or +30 but the surrounds have to be cranked up to +100. Ideally the power output of these speakers needs to be increased.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great speakers once turned up a bit, Bose do like to keep the sound subtle which most people don't want they want loud and proud speakers even if they are subtle especially for rear surround sound. Easy set up, plugged in all the speakers and then ran the App. I bought the Soundbar 700, Bass 700 module and these surround sound 700 speakers. Only possible issue is whilst running the App and the ADAPTiq setup noticed the rear speakers which were set up as left and right whilst looking at the TV/Soundbar, when displaying the sound from right and left they were transposed ie switched. When displaying sound from the front left and right front sound is heard from the front left and right, when sound displayed from the rear left and right sound came from the right then the left. So if this is a usual from the app there is a possibility that either me currently or everybody who has the products have the left and right rears reversed and unless there is Ann obvious sound rear left or right you are likely to be guessing for quite some time as to if you've got it right. App requires a fix as well as a possible channel display and sound option, ie shows which speaker is playing so you can see if you've got them the right way round especially if they now fix the app and I've corrected my speaker position?

Average quality for more than a premium price. Also, bose doesn't have seriel numbers on them. Store refused return. i had to go through corporate to get refund
